I'm using the 75amp version. Looks like it went up about $20 since I bought one two months ago but still a good option for ~$300. Amazon.com: PowerMax PMBC-75 75 Amp 12V Battery Charger with Clamps : ElectronicsI use this:![]()
Powermax 100AMP
i live in an apartment, would the Powermax work or would the Clore be a better option?I'm using the 75amp version. Looks like it went up about $20 since I bought one two months ago but still a good option for ~$300. Amazon.com: PowerMax PMBC-75 75 Amp 12V Battery Charger with Clamps : Electronics
The Clore PL6100 seems to be the standard but do note you'll need a 20 amp outlet or an adapter for a regular 15 amp house outlet. Some have used cheaper rv power supplies with no issues. No experience with those, but any that have a power supply mode capable of 75amps+ should work and not cause any puckering.
I don’t think it really matters. They are both high-quality. I did a bunch of updates over the weekend including a 2 1/2 hour IPMA and mine kept it charged fluctuating between 13.1 and 13.2 Amps in FDRS the whole time!i live in an apartment, would the Powermax work or would the Clore be a better option?
Other than the clips, is there a major difference between that one and this one?I'm using the 75amp version. Looks like it went up about $20 since I bought one two months ago but still a good option for ~$300. Amazon.com: PowerMax PMBC-75 75 Amp 12V Battery Charger with Clamps : Electronics

Looks the same aside from not having the clips or an an lcd screen to display the voltage. Also the sticker on the top lists an output of 13.6V while the pmbc-75has 13.2,13.8 and 14.6 but not sure that matters since i keep mine at 13.8. Guess you could just use a multimeter to check voltage though.Other than the clips, is there a major difference between that one and this one?
I use this one. Sometimes low tech is better. This one just has 2 dials. One for amperage and one for time (duration of charge)What is a good battery charger/maintainer recommended when using FDRS on a 23 Lariat ER?
