Lightning specific splash guards?

I used my Ford Pass points to order splash guards for my truck. Now they're saying the ones I ordered will not work on the Lightning trucks.....ICE F-150 only. Is that right? Why would the body panels be different so that unique splash guards are required?

They definitely fit, seen plenty of people put them on. I also just recently got a set and plan to install this weekend.

They sell lightning specific ones, don't know what the actual difference is.

They are essentially the same but the Lightning specific ones have the Lightning logo.

Lightning flaps fit better, fender is different.

Interesting. Well after a call to Customer Service they are getting me the correct ones and they're just going to do an even exchange since the price is the same between the two.

I ordered some Ford touch up paint to do the Lightning letters on the flaps I ordered. I was going to just use a generic silver paint pen but thought it might not be a color match thus the Ford paint pen.

Hadn't thought about going blue like that, that does look sharp

I can attest that the ICE version rear flaps do not fit on the Lightning. My dealer tried to install them and they don't quite fit properly. Its worth the time if they're back ordered to get the proper part.
