My infotainment screen has been rebooting the last two days when I shut the truck off at the end of the day. I also got a random Adaptive Cruise Control Unavailable error today for about a split second when driving around.

Maybe that's the update downloading to the vehicle? A guy can dream!?

Forscan is a 3rd party application that has a free version. You don’t pay Ford.

Y’all are nitpicking and missing the point. You should not HAVE to update your truck yourself in the first place. Glad ya can don’t get me wrong as I know many love to tinker. But you don’t have to run separate software and manually uplate other stuff in your tech life like your PC, phone, AV receiver, fridge, etc. If vehicle software was handled right by our beloved truck maker, you would not need to really even consider it.

BC 1.4 delivered overnight. Not e/a. 2022 Platinum in Idaho.

I got my notification last week about BlueCruise 1.4... started the update and it failed. It said it would try again that night but only the window update came through.. no dice on BC 1.4 since last week. Ford support wasn't helpful at all

After two months of waiting, finally got the update notice!

Too bad it failed again... Vehicle was plugged in, at about 85%, doors locked anyone have any other suggestions??

Try DM'ing @rugedraw your VIN and ask him to take a peak. He can let you know if it was 12v battery or maybe the files didn't download correctly. There may not be anything you can do and just have to wait for it to try again.

Park somewhere you have a strong cell signal indicated from the trucks modem. Not the phone indicator. It should retry the download after a few days. Top off 12 V battery using a trickle charger. These are all things that may help. There is a lot of waiting involved.

Did it fail saying interrupted by another process, or did it fail fail and it says "not complete"?
