OMG-Just a note to say Miracles do happen. After only a two+ year from the promised delivery date of 1.2. My 2022 Lariat just today received its first BC update (1.4).

Thanks to Jim for providing an additional year of coverage. I will be able to evaluate the upgrade for more than a day and half. The original 3yr service expires on 6/6/25.

For all you other 22’s out there, keep the faith. It can happen. ?
I just received my blue cruise update overnight! Have not tried it yet, but I have a 500 mile trip coming up! Can’t believe after all this time. MY 2022.
Had my trip using BlueCruise 1.4, it worked very well, when you signal for lane change it doesn’t mess around, moves over very quickly. Very happy to finally get this update.

I finally got BC 1.4 by OTA Tuesday. I am not impressed. I do not know if BC works as it is 60 miles to a BC approved highway. What I do know is I no longer have a working driver facing camera and lane centering no longer works.
The dash also starts screaming "Adaptive Cruise Control! Take Control Now!" when I stop at a traffic light behind another vehicle. Cruise control does not need to be on for the warning to trigger.
I have an appointment at the dealer next week.

What model year and trim do you have? A lot of us are waiting for this to roll out OTA and you’re the first I think I’ve heard of getting it OTA since the big push a few weeks ago.

I have a '23 Lariat ER built Aug 23 and delivered Mar 24.
Ford is still on the push a few updates, see what happens, push a few more routine.

Mind messaging me the VIN? Curious to see if I can see what is causing the issue.

In terms of lane centering: Are you wearing your seatbelt? The new IPMA software requires the seatbelt to be on for lane centering/BC to work.

Thanks. It was the seatbelt usage for all three complaints.

Thanks and congratulations! I had just about given up any hope of getting it on my 22 Platinum, I have a long trip next weekend, hoping I’ll get it soon.

I got the BC 1.4 update Friday. On my 23' Lariat ER. It failed on me as well the first time I think cause I had the truck plugged in. Once I unplugged it and ran the ota update again it worked!

The new BC 1.4 works keeps me in the lane better less ping ponging, and the lane change works when tapping the turn signal. However im not noticing it moving over in the lane for large trucks? Is that supposed to show a visualization on the dash like it does on the mach e?

Also noticed on sharp highway curves you now see a turn symbol on the dash above speed indicator I thought was kind of neat. Did not know it was part of the update as I had not seen anyone post about it. See pic below:

Played around with the lane change feature a bunch this weekend. I found it funny that the feature is still active even when hands-free is not - e.g. if you are traveling above 80mph, it will still try to do a lane change even though your hands are on the wheel. I wonder if that is by design or an oversight?

Not sure why but my BC 1.4 still doesn't handle sharp turns on the highway.

I was also going to ask about the, "moving over in lane" feature not working. I haven't noticed it either. Lane changes work just fine.

I did have it try to take an exit today, which it hasn't done [recently]. Not sure if it's a fluke. I'll try to duplicate it tomorrow.

It is very subtle when it moves over for large vehicles and sometimes, it does not do it at all. Also, the animations for BC on the Mach E are better than what we get on the trucks.

I thought someone here posted maybe a month ago that it shoed up in FDRS for 24s. I am not aware of any 24 that got it OTA yet though.
I installed 1.4 in my 24 Flash with FDRS in early March.
