Has anyone else's truck ever had missing info in the Vehicle tab on the App? I recently purchased a used 2022 Platinum about a month ago. It's never received an update. I have a 2023 Pro as well and it shows much more in the App and has already received a few software updates as well. The screen in the truck just says software is up to date.

Today it just deiced to forget about my home charging schedule and charged itself to 100 percent rather than the 90 it's been doing for weeks. I feel like the software is like beta when the truck first came out or something. Very frustrating. Can anyone tell me if it's really out of date?

The truck was in Telematics/Fleet mode when I first got it a month ago. I searched this forum and found out how to email ford and get that removed. It's been about 3 weeks now though since then.

Make sure all your connectivity switches are on.

It might take many more weeks for the truck to be queued up for more updates if any were missed while in fleet mode.

Maybe get the service department to manually check for status of updates for your truck as well and perform a couple of them to open the flood gates.

I would have the dealer update it manually since it was switched from another program.

Just keep in mind that the trucks receive updates in a random and nonsensical fashion and your 2 lightnings will always have different updates and one will possibly be months behind the other, and that's normal.

There have been a couple of OTAs that did exactly as you describe. I had to delete my home location and set up the charge schedule all over again after it happened on both my car and truck so that I could get it back to charging to 90%.

The most recent OTA to Sync 980 turned off auto mirror folding for everybody that had that enabled...on both the Lightning and the Mach-E. So yeah...shtuff like that happens.

Was that truck in use by dealer? In any event if it is somehow in the system as a FLEET vehicle you will not get OTAs. I had that issue with my demo when I got it. Somewhere in this forum you will find a contact number to call and check that issue with Ford. Hopefully that is all that is holding you back. Dealers cannot apply OTAs the Mothership has sole control of those downloads. Dealer can verify base software is correctly running and reinstall it which take hours to do but they can’t apply OTA packages. My truck was in the shop for 20 trying to figure out why the truck was not connecting with the Mothership to install OTAs. They could not talk to each other.

He has already taken care of the FLEET control.....

Is this a fairly new version? It dosen't seem like it's that old. I think there's something else going on with my app and the missing info.

Here's my 2023 Pro work truck on the app. It has the charging tab and other things. On my 2022 it won't even show when it is charging. The only way to know is to wait a while and look for the percent to go up.

I think Sync/Map updates only relate to those items. OTAs update truck programing for truck systems, hardware, and the computer on which Sync and Maps are installed. I suggested a potential resolution above. the truck is a big computer and sometimes you have to use elimination of potential issues. As I have suggested the first thing to understand is can the truck actually receive OTAs? If it not a Fleet vehicle then next step is to call Ford Pass rep and find out if they can see it in the system if so they may walk you thru a system reset. Do it in that order because Ford Pass can’t force OTAs while its under a Fleet designation as that blocks the truck out of OTAs. And Ford Pass cannot unblock the Fleet designation.

I bought the truck from a Private party. It was in Fleet mode when i first bought it. It wouldn't let me turn of "Telematics" (Had a lock symbol next to it). I emailed [email protected] as mentioned in another thread and they were able to remove it about a day later. I also called the Ford Pass help line a few times but they didn't offer much. I might need to try a 3rd time and see if I get a different person. A dealer trip is really frustrating for something like this but I guess it might be the only options. Just having to explain it all over again and hope they don't just sit on the truck is worrysome.

Could the Ford Pass people see your truck online. They could not see mine. If they can see it try rebooting the modem Pull Fuse 32 on the fuse panel under the cover just in front of passenger door under dash. Maybe get Ford Pass to walk you through a master reset process.

Leave fuse out for a minute then replace it. This does same as disconnecting the battery and is a lot easier. May need needle nose pliers to pull it or.

I did the battery yesterday. Didn't help. Fully charged the battery and then did the 12V BMS reset after reconnecting. I haven't done a master reset of everything since I first got the truck. I might try that next. Also already tried removing the truck from Ford Pass and re added it

On the Home Screen does it show cellular communication is working. Looks like 2 small arrows 1 up 1 down with symbol in between . Top of screen on right side about 3 inch’s from right edge.

Yes it's working. I can remote start the truck, lock and unlock using the app. I just don't have any charge indication on the home tab and no charging drop down on the vehicle tab. Several features are missing on the features & settings tab. Charge logs etc

It's just frustrating that the PRO model work truck has many more features than the top of the line Platinum. I probably never would have noticed if I didn't have both trucks.
