I have been unable to install Priority Update _ BCM - 24.5.1 since last week due to this issue. I charged my main battery to 100%, but no luck. I drove about 3-4 hours this past weekend in case the 12V needed to charge, no luck. I even left my truck running in my garage for about 8 hours, again to make sure the 12V battery can charge if needed, but still didn't work.

I did a search and saw a couple of others here ran into the same problem with a prior update a few months ago, but no one mentioned if and how they were able to get the problem resolved. I tried "Update Now" several times everyday since it was downloaded last week, but it just won't go through. And obviously, it tries to autoupdate every night, but still gives another error in the morning. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Not sure if you saw my post on the other thread, but I actually ran into your old comments when I was searching. It looks like you had the same problem a while back with 10.3.0. Were you eventually able to figure it out? Was it the BMS like mentioned above? If so, then I will have to look up the reset procedure.

Be sure the 12V battery is fully charged before performing the BMS reset.

I see you have a 2022 Lightning. Are you still using the original 12v battery? It may be time for a replacement.

I took my truck to the dealership today. They checked my 12V battery, confirmed that it was low, said that it "just needed to be charged" and is now good. (I specifically asked about resetting the BMS sensor, and they said it's not necessary. So I was already a little skeptical.) While still there, I tried to install the update to see if it would work, and I got this new message saying the update was "not completed" and "Ford will make a new update available as soon as possible." I no longer have the option of trying to complete the update.

When I walked back inside to show them the message, he looked it up on the computer and said Ford "cancelled the campaign" earlier today and the update is no longer being pushed out to vehicles. Does anyone have any info about whether this is true or not? Seems like a weird coincidence for me to have one problem after another with this particular update, so I'm a little skeptical if this information they gave me is true.

Bad Luck & Ba Timing, they do age out after x number of days, it will be reissued in the future, when is anyone's guess.

That's a bummer. I received it less than a week ago, so I'm surprised it would get taken down that quickly. I was really looking forward to walk away door lock. :(
