Thanks! I’ll try that. I’m almost ready to give up!
You are almost ready for an update! You have to completely give up on ever receiving another update ... and then an update will magically appear. But note that you have to completely give up. I don't know how the truck or Ford measures how much hope we have left, but they do.

The parameters that determine if the battery meets OTA conditions is more than just SOC. It also looks at battery capacity, voltage, temperature, drain and then uses a formula to determine a "capacity needed for OTA" and an "adjusted available battery capacity" to make the final determination of whether it will attempt the install or not. See example below from another Lightning from someone on here I checked earlier:

"errorCode":"InhibitRequiredHvNotQualifiedLvLow(204)""projectedLvSoc":"Insufficient12VBattery(32)""totalLvBatteryCapacity":"20""currentLvBatteryDataQuality":"OK""currentLvBatteryVoltage":"12""currentLvBatterySoc":"92""currentLvBatteryTemperature":"23""dynamicPostUpdateSocThreshold":"35""estimatedTimeToActivate":"420""estimatedTimeIncludingRollback":"750""currentDrainRate":"50""capacityNeededForOta":"10""adjustedAvailableLvBatteryCapacity":"16""projectedPostOtaLvCapacity":"6"

As you can see, his SoC was recorded at 92%, but the battery capacity is only 20%. So the algorithm declined the update install because the capacity needed for OTA is too low for the formula to meet the criteria.
So, the truck does all the calculations to: 1. Determine which LV battery conditions are required for an available update, and 2. Conclude that the existing LV battery conditions do NOT support the update. And then it just stops there?

@Ford Motor Company ... you are halfway home. I offer my free guidance to complete the journey.

The next logical steps are: 3. Activate HV contactor, 4. Charge LV battery to or above required conditions to support update, and 5. Download and install the update.

If the LV battery will not charge to required conditions, then 6. Send owner a message to replace the LV battery.

I am absolutely convinced that the half-sized 35 amp-hour battery in our Lightning is significantly undersized for its needs. And, the charging algorithms are a disaster.

Post #137 above from @rugedraw was my truck and I posted the results over in the Mach-E forum so I could get Mach-Lee to weigh in. His diagnosis was a bad 12V battery since it is showing to have only 20 AH of capacity instead of 35. Here is the report from rugedraw reformatted and [notes added]:
Error Code:
- Inhibit Required HV Not Qualified LV Low (204) [My HV SOC was 82%]
- Projected LV SOC: Insufficient 12V Battery (32)
Total LV Battery Capacity: 20 [units are Amp-hours. New battery is 35]
Current LV Battery Data Quality: OK
Current LV Battery Voltage: 12 [volts, bad rounding!]
Current LV Battery SOC: 92 [%]
Current LV Battery Temperature: 23 [degrees C = 73F]
Dynamic Post Update SOC Threshold: 35 [%]
Estimated Time To Activate: 420 [time in seconds, = 7 minutes]
Estimated Time Including Rollback: 750 [12.5 minutes, release notes say 13 minute install time]
Current Drain Rate: 50 [average mA during rest]
Capacity Needed For OTA: 10 [the amount of Amp-hours the OTA could use]
Adjusted Available LV Battery Capacity: 16
Projected Post OTA LV Capacity: 6

Looks like it's time to schedule a dealer visit to have the 12V diagnosed. Truck is 14 months into warranty. I was tempted to do the BMS reset but was afraid the battery could be going bad. Didn't want to tell the truck the battery was new and it try the update and fail during updating.

He also said the 50 mA drain was high, need to check that. If anyone else uses Car Scanner app, can you check your 12V battery quiescent avg.? Mine is 50 mA:

Mine seems to run in the 30-40 mA range.

I checked the Ford website and it says I have 100% battery, while I am 90% charge on the HVB.

My truck fails to update this one every night. Longest streak so far for failed updates.

Your 12v LVB is at 100%
While your traction battery is at 90% for 260 miles, imputed 288 mile at 100% and that's a seasonal adjustment for weather conditions.

Mine was doing the same then decided to update. No answer as to why.

Might be a YMMV issue. My build date was 02/23, but my truck wasn't complete until 04/23 because of the Dearborn battery fire. Took delivery 5/5/23. Got Power Up 4.2.1.1 on 6/12/23, 4.2.1.2 on 6/27, 4.2.2.2 on 7/19, 4.2.3.1 on 7/28, then no updates until the end of October when I got the Digital Owner's Manual and Power Up updates 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3. Got revised 6.2 on ~12/1 (didn't show up as a FordPass message). And 6.4 just today.
This is very helpful. I feel like I’m on a similar timeline but 6 months later.

Ok…
Dumb newbie q… where do I look to see what version I am on?
If your model year 2023 is old enough, you've started getting updates, the most recent will be displayed on the Sync screen software updates.

If your truck is relatively new, then you have not been issued updates yet, they will come in time.

Thank you! I’m not in a huge hurry as I have tons to learn about her…but would be nice to know where I stand.
I’ve had it about a month now.

If you’re referring to the 12V battery SoC, you can see it in your Ford account at Ford.com.

I have not seen the 12V SOC displayed on the Ford.com status. The charge level in your screen shot shows the HVB SOC. Have you seen the 12V SOC?
