Well, didn't think I'd get another chance before leaving for the east coast, but decided to add miles to our PHEV before leaving. Set up PPO and set the reserve to 20 miles and started charging at 3.8 kW.
And, indeed, it spontaneously shut down after about 45 mins (not close to the 2 hours experienced before). This really is a problem! So we see that according to the app (BTW....yes, I can see this on the app now.....a great step in the right direction) my reserve is set to "0" when it actually was set to 20 mi. via the truck screen. Also, when it did shut down, it also shut the truck off....which I have to having "running" in order to use PPO.

You're getting warnings, but is it shutting down? Let it go and see if it does. Interesting that you too have a 23 Pro.......is this the only build experiencing this problem? What's different about it?

Bummer.

The "0mi" reserve issue happened in my truck as well.
When I saw the "0 mi" in the FORD app I went to the truck and changed it and then the FORD app value changed to the new higher value.
A weird and new glitch along with the premature shut down.

If we all have the 2023 Pro, and that OTA you suspect was the cause, and it did something to the SYNC system (I think the OTA was for the SIRIUS XM system which isn't standard in the Lightnings) then that could be what we have in common and the root of the glitch.

Unfortunately I don't have versions of the modules before the OTA, or I'd try to roll it back to undo the OTA with FORscan.

I think a Ford dealership could undo that OTA pretty easily though with FDRS.

That might be our solution @Ford Motor Company Brian.

Very annoying for sure!

None of us have the Sirius XM in our SYNC systems.

The suspect is the recent OTA meant to fix some issue with the SYNC system Sirius XM is the source of the problem.

That seems to be what we have in common.

the "Feature Enhancements" this one: SYNC-25.2.1.6.5.2 which I got on March 3, 2026.
Seems it was for SiriusXM which the Pro doesn't have standard.

Maybe we all need to do what @TaxmanHog suggested in an earlier post and " Submit a trouble report via SYNC system FEEDBACK reporting! "

Possibly a play-store / app-store low quality rating with feedback email to the Developer(s) just in case they missed another app bug.

Though I'm seriously thinking it's a truck side programming issue, never hurts to have them APP folks root out another bug.
