Let me see what I can uncover for y'all.@Ford Motor Company Hey Brian, can you get us some info on this ask? Are there any plans? ANYTHING you can wring out of the devs would be much appreciated by all of us owners!
Those conversations are out there lol. There's been no official word from Ford as to why, but the popular user explanations are: safety reasons; to reduce calls to tech support saying their truck is losing more range with it on; to piss us off.Why are we not talking about how stupid it is to allow PPO to stay on with the vehicle off, but ONLY with a constant 90 watt draw?
If I'm actively clicking a setting to keep it on, then I want it on!

tHAT SHOULD ENABLE THE SWITH to leave outlets on. That should be all you need to do.
In which module? So I just reached out to Jesse about this last night and successfully enabled this on my 2022. Here's how its done. Insane that this simple modification hasn't been delivered OTA to people who have supported the Lightning program the longest. Use forscan to make these changes in the APIM.
APIM. Can't believe it took this long to flush that one outIn which module?
I like this idea. Do you think every 10 minutes for 2 seconds would still work? I need to keep my backseat-floor cooler on longer.90W minimum actually. I have a 110v timer plugged into one of the outlets with a small personal 200W heater plugged into it. The timer turns the heater on for 2 secs every 5 mins to keep PPO from turning off so I can use my dash cams as surveillance while the truck is parked. Heater never stays on long enough to get hot.
Works great.
As I understand it, there's a 6 min cutoff that's why I chose 5 min interval.I like this idea. Do you think every 10 minutes for 2 seconds would still work? I need to keep my backseat-floor cooler on longer.

Awesome! Thank you. The timer situation is a bit of a bummer though.APIM. Can't believe it took this long to flush that one out

Might be another value controls the timeout valueAs I understand it, there's a 6 min cutoff that's why I chose 5 min interval.
