I plugged in at work on Thursday and the truck refused to charge, which it has done once before with no rhyme or reason that I could see. The location is set up to charge anytime.

I plugged in on Friday at work (a different outlet however) and it did charge, but ignored the 90% limit I set and charged to 100%. Both outlets I have access to there are 240v 30 amp.

The charge behavior I notice at work is completely inexplicable.

If “charge anytime” means you’ve selected “Charge when plugged in”, that causes all settings to be ignored including charge limits.

Except it obeyed charge limits every other time I charged at work.

Next time you're at the troublesome location & plug.
Shutdown truck, turn on to accessory mode, then off again.
Pay attention to what the drivers cluster says about next charge status.

Hopefully it conforms with your desired scheme, ie charge when plugged in to 90%

You may need to create another location profile for each plug even if they are ~20 feet with in each other, the GPS sensitivity might precise enough that it needs a new rule set to your desired 90%

I had the same issue. Charge anytime somehow means charge to 100% all of the time.

Examples of unique charging locations, set a new location when you first plug into a recurring location, one for each parking stall.

My example of home is our garage, and the other is my brother and sister in laws driveway nearest the 14-50 outlet that I can plug my mobile charger into when we're visiting.

The "Use prefered charge settings" must be selected for each.

ALSO, ALWAYS use the truck to configure new locations, the APP SUCKS, as it does not tell you about the weekend time bands, when it is relevant.

This is honestly the worst app I’ve seen in quite some time.

Woke up and it’s at 100% instead of 90%. Truck has now ignored charge limit at home for the first time. NEVER did this before. WTF is going on?!

Did you get any notifications that the truck has also received and applied a priority update which was recently released? That update has been causing folks charging scheme to behave like yours is currently.

I have a saved location called Home. In the app under Saved locations there is a choice for Charge when plugged in and Use preferred charge settings. I chose preferred. Clicking on the location I can set a max charge level (mine is 90%) and for Preferred charge times I chose set my own time - then Anytime for both Weekends and Weekdays. Mine has always stopped at 90%.

I have all these settings set the same and it ignored the max charge of 90% - twice at work and now once at home.

I know how to use the equipment. It’s not doing as it’s told.

Have had same issue, does seem to work if I use preferred settings although I also have to remove my schedule because it doesn’t seem to like that in cold weather.

I have no other solutions just to say I’m with you.

I've gone ahead and re-deleted my two charge locations (work and home), re-established Home (won't be back at work until 3 January), reset my Time of Use limiter on the Juicebox and reset my weekday and weekend charge windows for this location in the truck.

Unfortunately, the Juicebox doesn't get a read of the truck's state of charge so it doesn't know to stop at 90%, only to charge between 10p and 5a.

If that doesn't take care of it I'm gonna be pissed.
