turning on outlets by phone

Could you help me put on a little show? Want to be able to turn on outlets with my phone. Have a Class Reunion coming up, want to put on a little show in the Frunk and launch some fireworks out of the bed and do it remotely. I have never used outlets yet. There was a gentleman hear who put on a Christmas display in his Frunk, where I got the idea.
May be a bit of a show off, last day of school I did a block long burnout in front of school with my Galaxie. It cost me a 20 dollar fine, worth every penny.

You'd probably want to involve some sort of smart home outlet you can control connected to the power and have it already on.

At least that's where I'd start.

I don’t know anything about fireworks or their operation*. You can purchase “smart plugs” that can be controlled remotely via app. You might need a wifi or bluetooth signal to make it work. You will want to check the specs of the smart plug you decide to purchase. Once you’ve set it up, you can turn the plug on/off remotely. Plug the things you intend to power into the smart plug. There’s currently no FordPass interface to the Pro Power inverter on the truck.

* I do know I wouldn’t want fireworks launching too near to my truck, though.

I’m on whatever is the current beta (I have PAKK turned off) and it’s not available for my 2023 Lightning. Maybe it is for a newer Lightning?

Old version of the app had the ability to control pro power I believe but that was before I got my truck.

I shoot professional fireworks on the side. I would agree with that statement!

Yes it did. Along with being able to turn on zone lighting. Supposedly they are working on bringing those features back but I’m not holding my breath.

I want to say that someone here said you can side load the old app and it works. My memory could be foggy however.

There were some who did that before but from what I remember it won’t work anymore.
