Connected Veepeak OBD2 scanner today and Car Scanner said my SOH is 93.5%. I feel a little concerned about this. Someone tell me if it’s fine. The truck was made Nov ‘22 and I took ownership in Mar ‘23 (still new). I had some HVB modules replaced last September that went bad. It’s at just over 24K miles. I rarely fast charge and maybe go up to 100% once every other month. Usually charging it to 85-90% with a L2 (between 8amps and 40amps).
When you can, find the opportunity to get the battery to as low of a SOC as practical and in one shot charge it to 100%.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. That number is the best guess of the BMS and a few folks have seen it change (upward) over time.

My truck is almost the same age as you (but with 17K). I have had my SOC drop and come back up but never more than a 1% to 0.5%. I charge to 100% a lot less frequently than you do. Mine is at 98.5% but so far I have not replaced any modules. I wonder is something should have been but was not reset when you replaced your modules to let BMS give more accurate numbers. If it is accurate, that seems low. Have you been towing uphill in hot weather or anything that stresses the battery?

No towing and I don’t think I’ve ever hauled anything in the bed too heavy. I do live in Texas, so plenty of heat. I keep it in a garage when not driving / away from home. I also wondered if something hadn’t been reset 🤷‍♂️. I was told Ford had to arrange for assistance when the dealer started doing the module swap.

Look at it this way; If the battery is good and BMS is confused, you may get your battery upgraded before your warranty is over because BMS thinks your SOH is under 70%.

You could do your own calculation next time you charge to 100%. Look at your actual SOC and energy in Car Scanner and go down to 20% and do the math to see if your actual battery capacity has dropped by something close to 93.5%. This is not fool proof since some of the data you are using may be the same false data that confuses BMS but at the minimum is additional info for you.

I had 1% drop soon after some of our hottest days here followed by a short fast charging but it may be a coincident. You can compare notes with other owners in Austin.

8400 miles. 100% SOH. Fully charged it shows 131.07 kWh. I charge to 80% nightly and 100% before a trip - probably only 5 or 6 Times so far. I’ve probably DCFC 12-15 times - half of those on Tesla superchargers with peak rates as high as 190 kW. I’m not easy on it and have seen over 450 kW draw from the battery during takeoff many times.

I noticed my variation in battery module capacity has gone down after charging to 100% - it was over 16 Ah when I bought it, went to 9.8 the 2nd time I fast charged and now it’s 4.2 Ah.

I thought I had a good printout of the FDRS battery report, but it got truncated
