56% or 57% is what folks normally report when the front motor fails to initialize properly, I wonder if that is what happened but this time it wasn't related to an update (or maybe an update to a minor module happened in the background).
Maybe a minor undocumented update may have happened, last week I had the clocks auto update found to be switched off and the time off by 5+ hours.

But, no official update alerts on the Sync screen or Fordpass.

In the past couple of months, I've experienced a reduced power output briefly after starting the truck, yesterday was the latest observation.
This would be Worrisome, especially with cold winter behind us.

Iโ€™ve seen this pop up a time or two. It usually goes away after shutting off the truck and stepping out for a few minutes. My Ford service tech refers to these events as โ€a glitch in the matrixโ€. Thanks Neo!

I just got the window update overnight and have now encountered a loss of front motor twice. Both times the truck was at 100% power available but at some point on my short drive to and from the grocery store the power dropped to 56% with no warning.

As I put truck in drive I noticed power output limited to 56%!?
This may be related to the front contactor. You can confirm that when you have that reduced power again, view the power distribution and it will show no power to the front wheels while driving. It may be software related, I don't think there's been any definitive answers, it usually fixes itself.

Good point. If if happens again, I'll check that. One thing that did happen was I got a PAAK glitch and had to shut the truck off, open the door, open FP app, turn the truck back on. I thought maybe it was a valet mode or something. I may delete the PAAK key as it's unreliable anyway. See if that helps.

Just happened to me.
Goes away? No service indicator? Hope it is just a glitch. But as other suggested, could be more serious, from bad contactors, one of the motors, or one of the 9 HV battery modules. See this thread for Ford safety recall of certain (940?) battery modules traced from a bad manufacturing system 2022 tp 2024:
https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...tery-electrode-misalignment-discussion.25331/
To check if on Ford's Safety Recall 25S18 HV Battery Electrode Misalignment, i.e., due for battery module(s) replacement.
https://www.ford.com/support/recalls/
or FordPass app "service" section.

Yes sir, just went away on its on. Came home, parked by the garage to unload groceries, hit the start button and was at 100% again. Weird. Deleted PAAK. I never had an issue in my XLT, ever. Checked all the Recalls and SB's and I'm clear, at least for the HVB anyway.

If have looked at the motor power on prior incidents but not the one that occured on the 16th of March, previous observations showed no power to the front motor which we've suspected is tied to intermittent HVB contactor(s)

Yesterday I did a road trip to southern NH, but this time only charged to 90% SOC, I did a battery conditioning routine with departure timer, consuming 4.3 KWH to warm battery & cabin, no errors occurred during startup and the trip was uneventful.
