Some temporary issues. My 23 ER Lariat notified me it's going to automatically apply the Window Functionality update tomorrow at 1am. Any issues I should know about or is it all good and just allow the update to run overnight?
The MyView returns to default with every software update. Annoying.Well mine took barely 15 minutes!!! Started around 545pm and now 6pm checking the app and it is done
All is working as before. Except it didn't save MyView setting as I'm missing some screens.

Just got the update today and it happened to me as well. I just purchased used a couple of weeks ago and I’ve read about this issue so that made it a little less stressful, but still jarring to see at the beginning of a long drive. It resolved after parking at an appointment for about 20 minutes.I posted this in the loss of power thread, but after I got this update last night I've been having intermittent loss of my front motor. Anyone else with this update seen something similar? Not sure if it's an odd occurrence or an update bug.
Many have reported (some right above your post) that an update will do this. Drive it several times this weekend and it will most likely clear. IIRC if you look at the power distribution on the cluster screen you may see front wheels with no power.Hello all, I just received the window performance yesterday and now the power is stuck on 64%, should I take it to dealership or wait for it to sort it out itself?
Are you saying the plat. Trucks have auto up down windows in the rear as well?? I’ve never heard that before. If so that’s quite interesting.Window speed is different because the front and rear windows have different regulators/motors. The front ones are smarter and have the two stage buttons for auto up or down. The rear ones have the less expensive simpler on/off manual motor/regulators.
The Platinum trucks have the fancier motors on all four windows.
the fancier ones track the position of the window and have the pinch protection. The other ones don’t have pinch protection so you have to manually hold the button to raise and lower them as a safety feature / you would let go of the button if your kid gets pinched.
same on most cars that only have the auto up/down on the front windows. It’s a cost saving thing. Hence the platinum trucks have it on all windows since that’s a more baller package.
