Charging error (All 5 segments turn RED) HVB Module failure

I plugged in my level 2 charger and instead of the normal blue segments appearing they all immediately turned red. I tried my ford 80 amp charger and the same error occurring. Error on screen said charging failed. One day prior to this I received a service soon warning. I got an appointment with my local dealer. While driving to my dealer I noticed a slight hesitation in my acceleration that has never occurred before. The dealer found 3 bad battery modules in my HV battery pack. It's supposed to take 2-3 days to deliver the modules. In the meantime my dealer has supplied me with a loaner car. Waiting on a completion phone call.

This has occurred to a number of us. Reduced power is due to the failed modules.

We just got the Power Train/Reduced Power alert a week and a half ago. We planned on taking it in within a few days, until we found the charging issue with the red lights that night. We have two EVSEs and two EVs, so we could check that everything worked, except the Lightning's ability to charge.

Basically, they have to replace the battery (under warranty). It's supposed to take at least 2 weeks to get the replacement. We have a loaner that is an ICE and are looking into replacing it with an EV.

That's been an acronym since cars were differentiated by model year. See also FY - fiscal year, CY - calendar year, and AY - assessment year.

How do you know an acronym is more useless than useful? Use your favorite search engine and see if it shows up right on top. If not, then don't use it because you will lose people in the conversation. Kind of like when you talk to someone in real life.
