I have RV and I am super frequent user of ProPower to power my RV on the wild.
Recently I learnt the newer truck can turn on ProPower without starting the truck

It definitely saves more percious battery since screen is off, and it ensures the HVAC is not ON, and motor rail is not on, more battery saving.

Is it possible now with older truck?

No... I've been waiting for this for almost 2 years. I was told when buying the truck this would be coming to the 22's and 23's. There are also videos of Ford engineers stating the same thing. Still no update or any further communication of this update which has made many, including myself very upset. That's where we stand as of today.

I don’t have that capability on my 2024 Flash. Had not even heard of it

Then you can trickle charge your LVB with the truck off.

If I ever have to go camping or such, I'm planning on getting a solar generator with a couple expansion batteries and run things off that instead of PPO given this limitation. Then use either solar or PPO to charge the generator/batteries when needed.

All you have to do in that case is to turn off the 30-minute OFF timer in the Sync, and turn on SILENT MODE. The truck will silently and pretty invisibly "run" for days and days. You can lock it too while it's doing all this.

From the complaints I've seen of PPO while truck is off -- mainly needing to have a constant load >60W applied otherwise it shuts off -- it really isn't necessary. Turn off the main screen, turn off HVAC/radio, etc: You've got the same thing but without the 60W requirement.

Afaik it's new for the 25 year model. I have the capability in my 25 Flash to allow all outlets on with system off.

My 2024 Flash has this too. Is that slider not present in 2022-23s?

Yes, I have the same setup in my 2024 Flash as well. I’m referring to the possibility of controlling all of it with my Ford App
