You select OP Long in the Comma settings by toggling on "experimental mode" in the Comma, then toggling on "OpenPilot Longitudinal Control". Different versions of OP/BP/SP have similar but slightly different locations in the Comma settings. Now when you activate your cruise control, the ACC portion is controlled by Comma, not the Ford.

Slight correction here:

You first tun on "OpenPilot Longitudinal Control" or "Alpha Long" (it depends on whether you are doing on your device or in sunnylink what the name is. I have a request to make the name consistent between the two). This gives comma control of the gas and brake, and it will operate like standard ACC. You can then turn on experimental mode, which adds stop signs and red light functionality (that works about 50% of the time).

It didn't get a crash report, so nothing is causing the inroad UI to not launch. Triple check all the usb plugs are tight. Mine was doing the same thing the other night and I realized the USB cable in my dock had started to deform and had shrunk back a little and it wasn't making full contact. I had to open the dock up and reposition the cable, and secure it with a little glue
Got in this afternoon and it went to driving mode but the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Reseated the comma and unplugged the cord and 90 from the dock and all is well now.

by the way if you make a combo c4 dock and fitcam offset, I would buy!
to elaborate on my quick phone response from earlier.

I initially set out to make a combo unit. But by time you get the camera far enough away from the comma that it’s not in the field of view, you have a big unit that is either overly heavily and bulky to ship and will take up a bunch of dead space, or has long flimsy branches that might break
and can’t really support the devices well.

I also looked at stacking them vertically, but that has even more issues.

two separate mounts is what makes sense.

I was wondering if there is a list of recommended settings or toggles to turn on?

So far, I'm not really impressed with the Comma 4. I have my lane offset set to +40, and my truck still hugs the center lane, sometimes even goes over it, and it drives like it's been drinking, constantly moving within the lane. Also, the speed is way off and hardly ever accurate. Not a big fan so far, and I hesitate to use it.

Well, a +0.4 on offset would cause it to ping pong like crazy. I've repeatedly explained that this setting should be only used as a last resort, because you are fighting the model when you try to adjust the offset. usually 0.05 or 0.1 is okay, but getting higher than that will cause problems.

If you don't like where it is positioned in the lane, verify that your device is properly centered in your windshield. Then you can try different models, as some tend to place you differently within the lane.

The Comma4 doesn't show your speed by default. There is a blue plot specific feature that placed information in the bottom right corner of the screen, and it is adjustable to what it shows. I suspect you have it set to show the speed of the vehicle in front of you.

Thanks, I will change the offset to .05 and see but I know it's going to hug the center lane. The unit is centered but I will confirm this.
