mi/kWh depends on driving habits, external ambient temperature, internal energy usage (AC/Heater), speed, wind, elevation gain/loss, regenerative breaking. Highway is a killer.

I drive short distance city driving 200+mi/wk and average 2.5-3.8 mi/kWh at 70-90 degrees in central VA. My last trip was 3.1mi/kWh on a 14 mile drive and before that 3.8mi/kWh on a 10.5mi drive. Most of the time it's around 2.7-3.1mi/kWh city driving going between 30-55mph. It's going to depend on where you live. If you're in the south, is your cabin temperature set very low so AC is running? Are you driving up/down hills frequently in your drive? How fast are you driving and are you using regenerative breaking? There are so many factors that affect mi/kWh
But you still can’t hit 2.6. It’s like Harvey the rabbit for those old enough to get the reference.

Does anyone who lives in Florida get anything better than 2.2??? I think my average for the last 1600 miles or so is 2.1. I don’t do a ton of highway driving.
I do! I live in South Florida and here in the winter on city trips I am getting 2.6 to 2.8. Highway at 85 mph, 1.8 to 2.0. If I use my AC alot in the summer or idle alot, it can drop to 1.8.

sorry was meant for richguy82 who asked about mi/kwh in Florida. I've never seen 2.6 on my dash.

I’ve been driving my Lightning for about 18 months now, and one thing that I have noticed on my daily trip is that I never can achieve 2.6M/KWh. I can do 2.5, I can do 2.7, but the truck will never show 2.6. Why?

Antone else notice this?
Not hitting 2.6 may be a function of the calculator the truck uses - maybe it prefers to round off to odd numbers?

I'll have to keep an eye on that and see if it happens in mine.

Best I have seen on mine is 2.0 doing 60 mph, usually 1.8-1.9. I would love to see anything over 2.0.

Almost 21K miles and my lifetime average is just over 2.3 miles / KWH. Driving around town it's usually higher, and high speed freeway trips are lower.

I try to drive real easy. Also, i've recently started driving with one pedal drive off.Which I discovered to my surprise, i'm getting more mileage. I've seen people's post saying that they drive with the one pedal drive off. But I didn't think that would improve your mileage. Apparently at least for me it does. Here's a pic of what I did today.

It's 100% dependent on the driver. Some people perform better with 1 pedal and others (like yourself and me) do better with 2 pedals. I've tried 1 pedal a couple times, my brain just isn't wired for it. Been 2 pedal for 99.9% of my miles and my lifetime is 2.5, with a commute average of 2.7. These trucks love the slower speeds and busy traffic.
