@Ford Motor Company …This is great! Thank you all. How about letting us older trucks set the a/c charge rate from the vehicle so that when we are on vacation we can charge off of more than just 2 plug options.

Newbie here and I have a question why Ford implemented the on board power and the app. The app says I need to have the truck on to turn the on board power on. This is rather annoying as if I'm on a site where power is needed and it shuts off after idle, I would have to go back to the truck to turn it on. Why can't I just have a swipe function on the app to turn it on (via a button that can accidentally trigger the on board power)? This is annoying and frustrating when I have to stop what I'm doing and walk all the way to the truck to turn it back on. Or am I doing something wrong here?
Oh wow, that's new? I've only taken ownership in less than a month (already put 2000 miles on it!) so I'm getting to know the app and the truck. If you know more but can't share, that's understandable. As long as this community has someone helping us move forward with tweaks, it is very welcomed. The PPOB display in the app is a display only (so far), and until fairly recently it was not there at all. Yes, it would be nice to have control of it from the app. I know a little more, but can't talk about it.
The fundamental problem is that Ford views the app as a gee whiz add on feature to be upsold, rather than a core extension of the vehicle's UI like modern buyers have come to expect. It is an afterthought.Newbie here and I have a question why Ford implemented the on board power and the app. The app says I need to have the truck on to turn the on board power on. Indeed much welcomed.....been asking for this since I bought the truck. Thanks so much!
BUT, I'm not seeing it yet! The truck is within wifi and is on a maintainer to ensure 12v battery is full. I verified that I do have 25.8.5 and I have power cycled (and used PPOB) the truck several times since June 22. How long before I see this? Is there a way to "force it"? What does it take? And, "silent updates" strange....why keep them "secret"? But THANKS (assuming I get it).
Although I do my fair share of complaining here... The app is not one of the things I have a problem with. Other than maybe Tesla, I'm curious to know which companies Apps are better? I recently purchased a new BEV car and went shopping at so many brands including Toyota, Subaru, etc.. I checked out all their apps. We settled on Cadillac and the App has a fraction the features that the Ford App has... Every other manufacturer also charges for their app after the free trial period. The fundamental problem is that Ford views the app as a gee whiz add on feature to be upsold, rather than a core extension of the vehicle's UI like modern buyers have come to expect. It can be enabled with Forscan if you can’t wait. We’ve found lots of features we can enable for 22-23’s that the 24+ have already. BlueCruise 1.4, trailer side view, 50/50 Split View, PPOB, Walk Away Lock. Some require module updates but sounds like you’re getting those. Ford has slowly been adding many of these OTA but with Forscan you don’t need to wait.Indeed much welcomed.....been asking for this since I bought the truck. Thanks so much!

Haven't tried lock/unlock... but set a charge limit in the app is broken regardless of PPOB or vehicle power status for me. Has been for several months IIRC. In vehicle display works to set a one time charge limit. But, after charging has already started, the charge limit slider is missing from my app completely.Anyone else unable to lock/unlock, or set charge limit when charging, while at the same time using pro-power with the truck off?
