2023 Lightning with 20" wheels now only shipping with All-Terrain tires (at no cost)

I have a 1FT6 VIN as well for a ER Lariat with 11/21, but my online configuration shows AT tires. I suspect I will get a new VIN at Some point.

Look closely at the GVWR on the sticker when it comes out, if it says 8550, then you will not have a problem with the MOR-EV-TRUCK rebate (I hope), also hoping the MCO (Factory Title) shows 8550

This post by @KennyB123 of the notification he received from Ford indicates the change in GVWR and Payload. Apparently Ford figured out they better communicate the change in payload. Probably the Ford lawyers trying to avoid lawsuits from customers expecting the 8,550 GVWR. Interesting they also mention range maybe as a diversionary tactic.

That is correct only 20” tires.
Your PRO will come with an 8,250 GVWR and the Michelin Primacy XC “all terrain” tires.

Ford could have done something much better than what they are doing.

Not only did they lose 150 pounds of payload just because of the tire rating, it is almost appalling the number of features that are being removed from the truck.

thanks for nothing Ford! It would have been nice to hear Ford acknowledge and sympathize with us that this would be an impact of the AS tire shortage. If offered, I would have happily delayed in order to get the rebate. How do I see the sticker?

Yes, I'm encouraging all MASSACHUSETTS MEMBERS to contact their selling dealer, to discuss methods for delaying order selection to production, ex. very high priority code, deleting removal options (heated wheels, scales, etc) to stall production until the tire shortage is over, I'm not sure when/if that will happen.

I sent you a PM with a hyper link to the new VIN/window sticker.

Speaking of which ..... New Mass member @180ABL , I see you listed your truck on the forum orders list and have an upcoming build week of 12/5, if possible and your willing to wait contact your dealer to see if they can delay your Lariat-ER build, otherwise you might miss out on the Mor-EV-Trucks rebate of $7500 if @Ford Motor Company puts AT tires on your truck!!!!!!

Received my check yesterday. So my timeline was:

9/9 took delivery of truck
9/20 submitted required docs to Mor-EV program
9/27 confirmation email saying all docs were accepted, awaiting final approval
11/1 received final approval
11/21 check in mailbox

All I know is 275/60R20 BSW All-Terrain Tires

The all terrain is a Hankook Dynapro AT2 275 60/R20 115T

The all season is a General Grabber HTS 60 275 60/R20 116T

Got my truck. All terrain tire is very close to all season. I wouldn't have known the difference.
