Those of us who haven’t gotten OTA updates for over a year. Any chance we could get the dealer to apply this via a CSP?
Where in VA? Might have someone with you that can update it with FDRS. Dealer will probably be $texas to do the updates.

You may say that I'm late to the party, but there's good reason. To help ensure a smooth and successful software rollout, our process is to send software updates by model years within each vehicle line. This is because every model year is unique and requires a different software package, involving complex updates to multiple system modules and in-vehicle display screens.
Relative to your quote above, this might be why Ford fixing the Home Integration System is a "difficult problem in computer science...." Your BlueCruise 1.4 explanation is great, Brian. If possible, could you find out from the Powers That Be what's going on with fixing the Home Integration System so that it can work automatically and reliably for those folks who spent a lot of money to purchase and install it, like me. Obviously, a brand new thread would be the place to provide such an update. Ford, in its overall silence on the matter, isn't doing a whole bunch to build customer loyalty and trust. By the end of 2025, it will have been about 3.5 years since the system was first released, and clearly, from owner remarks on this forum, all the kinks in the system have yet to be ironed out.

Since I only got my truck in May 2023, all components of my system and my truck are still under basic warranty. I recently called Ford and said I wanted warranty service because my system rarely works automatically (but it will upon occasion). I was told to call Sunrun. Sunrun said they'd be happy to come out to my house to inspect the system, but I'd have to be charged $544 for the trip. If the problem were found to lie in my FCSP or the HIS unit, my $544 would be refunded, and the problem would be fixed at no charge. But if the problem resided in the truck's response, no refund of the $544. This is not what I'd call warranty service for an item that's never worked as advertised since it was installed in June of 2023

Flagging this with the energy services team!

I just got a 2025 Lightning with Blue Cruise 1.4 (I believe so anyway), and it's great. I have a friend with a gene Rivian, and he said BC noticably better than what Rivian has. It doesn't do map direction following like the Tesla, and it's not quite as autonomous as the Tesla, but it's still very good. We use it all the time on highways and other roads. Keep ’em coming ford!

I finally received the 1.4 update with the Walk Away Lock. I was able enable the Walk Away Lock Feature with no issue and it functions. I do seem to be having an issue with being able to enable In-Line Positioning and Lane Change Assist. When I toggle the button it will slide over for a second, stay grey, and then slide back. When driving the Lane Change Assist does not function.

Suggestions?

Having a 2025 that I guess came with 1.4... it still moves around in the lane a good amount. At some points I just turn it off and drive by hand for a while. And I turned off in-lane repositioning thinking it might be causing it. Doesn't seem to be.
In lane repositioning does seem to have a consistent behavior with mine when on. If I'm in the left lane passing a semi it seems to get closer to the semi right at the end when my nose is even with the semi's nose. Enough that it makes me want to grab the wheel just to stabilize it.

The programming is off with it. The trailer being wider than the truck seems to mess with it and it tries to move back over sooner than it should. Going on 3 months with the Comma and no regrets.

This just pisses me off. I have a 2022, which will be 3 years in December. If I happen to get it before my 3 years is up, I will have to pay $500 PER year for the privilege of using it. Nope! Just ordered a GMC Denali Max Range.

On top of that, still no walk away lock.

I also received the update this week, but the toggles for both in lane repositioning and lane change assist will not turn on or at least will not stay on. Would love some information on how to get these updates to actually function.
I finally received BC 1.4 on September 6 just in time for a trip from MD down to NC to do some rebuilding post-Helene. Driving with BC 1.4 was a great improvement.

My Lane Change Assist is active but I haven't experienced the In-Lane Repositioning and there is nothing on the display showing an adjacent truck. Having used this on my Mach E for a while, I saw no sign of In-Lane Repositioning being active.

However, I can't find toggles for Lane Change Assist or In-Lane Repositioning. Where did you find them?

Hi F-150 Lightning owners, BlueCruise 1.4 is "officially" here and rolling out to 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning vehicles equipped with BlueCruise via an over-the-air software update.

Depending on the model year, the software update will take eligible owners from BlueCruise 1.0 or 1.2 all the way to BlueCruise 1.4. As a result of BlueCruise 1.4, you will experience:
  • Longer engagement in hands-free mode for a more continuous experience on the highway — around tighter curves, for example – with fewer interruptions requiring you to put your hands on the wheel.
  • Greater in-lane stability and less side-to-side movement within the lane. In fact, BlueCruise 1.4 reduces deviations from the center of the lane by nearly 80% from version 1.0, based on internal testing.
If you have BlueCruise 1.0, it is important to know that with BlueCruise 1.4 you will also experience:
  • The ability to make a hands-free lane change on the highway when the path is clear simply by tapping your turn signal with Lane Change Assist.
  • More space when driving next to a large semi-truck with In-Lane Repositioning, which subtly shifts your vehicle within its lane.
BlueCruise 1.4 is also shipping from the factory on 2025 F-150 Lightning. We have already rolled out BlueCruise 1.3 to 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles.

You may say that I'm late to the party, but there's good reason. We hope you enjoy BlueCruise 1.4 – let me know what you think.

Happy BlueCruisin’,

Hi Brian,

Soooo glad BC 1.4 is finally here for real.

This installed on my Lightning (Sherman) just in time for a trip from MD down to NC to do some rebuilding post-Helene. Driving with BC 1.4 was a great improvement.

However, the announcement says:
  • More space when driving next to a large semi-truck with In-Lane Repositioning, which subtly shifts your vehicle within its lane.
Having used this on my Mach E for a while, I saw no sign of this being active. I didn’t feel the In-Lane Repositioning. I also don't see adjacent trucks on the display like I do in my Mach E.

Any thoughts?

Well, I would love to tell you what my thoughts are, but I can’t toggle on in lane repositioning or lane change assist despite being able to see the toggles. When I do toggle them on, they turn off within a few seconds. Even when blue Cruise is active, this happens. I have called Ford and discussed this with their online chat team multiple times without resolution. I hope there is some other update coming for both of us That actually helps this to work. By the way, I love the name of your lightning.

My question is where are your toggles? I can't find toggles for these features.
