Did your AC start working again? I had the same issue
Quick and dirty way is to solder a 360 ohm resistor between pins A-10/A-11. Can be placed on harness or comma end.2) Alerts on startup. This heard that this has been discussed in depth in this thread so I'll start going back through it. But if its an easy fix, would someone mind bringing me up to speed?
If you can't solder, just let us know and we can help make you one. We can't really root cause it until someone can pull DTC's from an affected truck and see what may be keeping the AC down once the reflections (Startup Errors) are resolved.Quick and dirty way is to solder a 360 ohm resistor between pins A-10/A-11. So, does the resistor coupler prevent the issue? If not, does removing the harness box restore AC? I have yet to install my Comma but I can't go without AC in this weather. The AC issues is very very recent, 3 reports in the last week, none before. We are still working on the root of the issue. I suspect either a slight change in design by Comma (they are bad about being slow to update their doucments so you know something changed) or a bad batch of hardware from comma. The USB Resistor coupler is the best solution for the errors, and hopefully the AC,, but they are not quite ready yet. You can make a DIY temp resistor until those are ready, especially since no one wants to go without AC for a few weeks.
Removing the long cable from the comma harness box resolves it, which is why I think it is related to the reflections. Seems like a fault fails to clear until the truck sits long enough for it to reset. So, does the resistor coupler prevent the issue? If not, does removing the harness box restore AC? My truck had the AC be wonky on initial setup but no issues with resistor board. If you can't solder, just let us know and we can help make you one. What we are getting now is the AC is fulling shutting off until the modules sit inactive for enough time to reset. My truck had the AC be wonky on initial setup but no issues with resistor board.
