F150 Lightning FORScan thread - Version 2

FORScan questions:

1. I know we cannot force Sport mode permanently via programming but is there a way to extend the "resume Sport" timer? I find if I'm doing anything other than full front display focus, I tend to miss it then have to go into settings.

2. Is there a way to disable this Vehicle Location, Driving Data popup from coming on-screen?

1. I don't recall anyone figuring Sport Mode timer out. I know there isn't a way to have it in stay in Sport.
2. I see the Privacy Notice only occasionally - are you getting it a lot?

Also like they want you to learn more at www.%vehicleMake%connected.com. Not typical for %vehicleMake% to make software mistakes like that. /s

Sport Mode Start Procedure:
1. Push Start Button
2. Position right thumb or forefinger on OK button
3. Start pushing the OK button until the screen tone goes from Blue to Grey (they could pick a sportier color for Sport Mode)
4. Put it gear & GO !!

Speedometer is displaying km/h now again. In easy mode I did the following sccm changes:

Speedometer calibration: Northamerica -> Europe
Display Unit Selection Function: Imperial -> Metric
Country Code: US -> CA (used CA as metric is used there too)

In your original post the only SCCM changes you said you made were:
Blink 3 to 4
rain sensor disabled to enabled
Markt non-European to Europe
The blinks change and rain sensor are straight-forward.

I meant to ask you what you meant by "Markt non-European to Europe". Sounds like you may have messed something up there originally and Easy Mode fixed it.

EDIT: Are you sure you did this in SCCM? Those values seem to be in IPC.

You are right. I reverted in sccm the market parameter to non-European too - forgot to mention that. The other changes are from IPC, not SCCM - my mistake.

The spreadsheet says B stands for Background whatever that is. I have concerns when folks post mods that may come from the ICE forum or other sources.

I have a database of about 50 Lightning As-Builts across all model years and trim levels and everyone of them has a 4 in that position. I also have a few ICE Lariat and Platinum PowerBoosts in my data and they also have 4. But to your point maybe the original source was copying from an ICE F-150 that had a 6. I haven't added all variants of ICE to my data.

So I'm not sure why he disables SS but enables B ("2"). I agree with you that the logical value would be 0 if you want to disable the Splash Screeen. Did you try 0 and did it work for you? I haven't tried it.

In regards to "IPC Quick Boot"...on Saturday, I tried both:

IPC 720-07-01 xxxx xxxx 2xxx
&
IPC 720-07-01 xxxx xxxx 0xxx

No changes that I can see, looks stock/default (4xxx). I did reboot IPC modules after each attempt.

I've searched and I can't find anything about this. I have a 23 Lariat ER, is there anyway to add in-cabin propulsion sounds like the Platinum edition using Forscan? Not sure if I really want the faux sound but though it would be nice to have the option.

It may be possible but no one has discovered the changes. Many of these mods originate in the 14thGen ICE F-150 forum and they don't have any propulsion sounds (other than the V-6 or V-8!)

Same here. I tried using the "easy method" too and still have the splash screens. 2024 Pro.

I’m trying to get glare free headlights to work but the section where you can set the direction of traffic is not there. This is all I got. Or is this how it’s suppose to look

I don’t know what you mean by direction of traffic. Do you mean driving on the left?
That pic you have matches mine except that in the US we also have a toggle to disable Daytime Running Lights.

Ya I saw some people have a setting for driving on the left or right. I’m in Canada.

yeah. Can't find the post but I also recall seeing someone with the setting. Must be some flag in FORScan somewhere.
