I noticed a while ago that when I unplug my truck the light on the FCSP fast blinks blue. It otherwise works great and I have no issues charging my truck at full speed since I have a 100A circuit and a 2023 with the dual onboard chargers.

Anyone seen something like this? The manual does not call out what the fast blinks blue is, and this was not the usual behavior after I installed it.

Interesting, I haven't seen that condition with my FCSP, reach out to Siemens hotline, they might have an explanation.

Good call. I called the Ford one and was told I was downreved on firmware, however I don’t think the person I was talking to understands semantic versioning and the version they said I needed was an old one. I will find the Siemens number and call them today. Thank you for this suggestion!

Haven't seen that on my FCSP, and it is not in the chart of Status Light indications.
Last time I checked as of today Nov 14, 2025

Software: 2.112.125.3.15.3.15.3.15.3.15
Firmware: 5.0.25

Apparently there was a firm ware update sometime since I last checked (old firm ware 5.0.16).

I have noticed that when I disconnect, the FCSP does go through some lights that indicate a reboot essentially - sorry I don't remember exactly, but I looked it up shortly after I installed my FCSP. I will try to remember to look at it tomorrow morning after it's charge tonight and verify what exactly it does.

It probably white, pulsing lights. This was discussed on here awhile ago, and the consensus was that it meant data was being uploaded to Ford servers to store charge history.

Fast blinking blue is a problem. It's not normal, does it still work?

Mine is still at this level today.

Yes, I think I just didn't update my stored info file until now...
BTW, those updates fixed the problem I was having with adding it to FordPass apparently.

The only weird thing with mine recently is one day it had the solid white light status indication of a "Station Reset" for no apparent reason.

Flipping the breaker off then back on and it was back to "Bright Blue."

I haven't noticed the fast blinking the OP mentioned, but when I unplug I usually have the garage door closed so I wouldn't see it if it happened.

I'll have to open the garage door and check this morning when I unplug...

UPDATE: unplugged, no flashing

UPDATE:
And just like that it went back to its old behavior where it is solid white after I unplug but goes back to solid blue in a few minutes after that. No more flashing. Not sure what got fixed.

Yes mine went solid white - station reset - a few days ago then a flip of the breaker and back to blue - nothing seems changed as far as I can tell, no idea why the reset...go figure.

In my case the anomaly was the flashing blue light. Mine has always shown the white light for a minute after disconnecting the truck, followed by turning solid blue light.
