The only difference I can think of between my system and others is that my FCSP is rarely used. I have used it probably 10 times since April. Maybe because I have no real log files is the reason mine is working correctly and the others are failing.

I did get the charge data into the app correctly after charging to 100% last night.

Unfortunately my truck modem is still out to lunch and it thinks the truck is still on from a couple of days ago. It is off and at 100% currently.
So my charger works online just fine but the truck continues to fail frequently (for two years now)

In another recent thread, it has been discovered that temporarily disabling the connectivity authorization in SYNC then reenabling them often fixes this situation, baring an actually failed telematics modem.

Make sure to switch all features off then on.

Yeah, they're sure to ruin the wonderful, perfect, peace-loving world we humans have created where everyone lives happily ever after. (I'd say the available evidence indicates that humans, not machines, are life on Earth's most serious problem. We are potentially the new mass-extinction asteroid, slowly smacking the planet towards oblivion, paving the planet over, etc. ).

When we first arrived in San Antonio 37 years ago, it was very green. Houses were built on reasonably-sized lots. Now they're built wall-to-wall in developments on next-to-no land because water is getting scarcer and a lot more expensive. And so it goes.

TL;DR: If you have the latest FCSP firmware (version 5.3.8), you may be able to soft-reset your FCSP like me without bricking it.

To get back on topic (sorry about the digression), although I had my FCSP connected to Ford servers at 5:43 PM yesterday evening, later that night the Ford app again showed the FCSP with "Connection Lost."

So, I decided it was time for the nuclear option. I unplugged the FCSP from the truck and launched a software factory reset via the option in the Ford Charge Station Pro Setup app settings. One would think to reconnect to my local LAN, one should create a new setting. But apparently the LAN remembers the device, as I could only connect via Manage Settings and had to provide the FCSP password to connect (normally the Ford CSP app seems to remember the password on reconnecting). Despite the factory reset, for 4 or 5 hours afterward the Ford app still showed "Connection Lost" for the FCSP. When I next checked about 12 hours later, the app showed the FCSP had a server connection, with a green "Transferring Power" (from the truck to the house, which it wasn't doing).

Then, the pièce de résistance: the FCSP is now a blue "Ready to Charge" in the Ford app. God knows how long that will last, maybe no longer than the "Transferring Power" server connection I got yesterday after a cold reboot. But at least the soft reset didn't brick my FCSP, and it was easy to reconnect it to my LAN. FWIW, the RSSI of the FCSP to a nearby mesh router is -56 dBm on the 2.4 GHz band, and the average of 20 pings to my computer, a mesh AP away, is 63 ms, with the fastest being 8 ms. The AP my computer is on is the FCSP's route to the main mesh router and the Internet. That AP connects to the main mesh Deco router with -47 dBm on a 5/6 GHz backbone. So, it seems my FCSP has pretty good connections.

Update: In the time it took to write this post, the FCSP is back to "Transferring Power!" Maybe "Connection Lost" is next in line (again!)? Update02: Yep, at 9:09 PM the same day, I am back to "Connection Lost."

If only I could log-on to do the soft-factory reset, alas I'd have to push the manual reset button inside the cabinet, fear is documented by Nikki, that the corrupted firmware will still be present and hinder a rebinding operation to my network, rendering it a dumb charger and preventing it from being remotely accessed by Siemens if that is even possible in the current condition.

@Ford Motor Company what say you, send me a substitute FCSP for the hosed one I currently have?

Currently charging with mine, I can view with FordPass and it says, "Plugged In". History is available in both FordPass and the Insight tab. But I still can't connect via Setup app to view version or do anything else.

Dates are a little off due to charging in the evening and unplugging next day. I can live with this, but it is clearly an unacceptable level of service when compared to the offerings of much smaller companies. Ford should be ashamed to have their name on this product.
