My FordPass stopped communicating with the Lightning last Sunday. This evening, I got notification that Ford Power-Up 4.1.2.1 had been applied, and it's communicating again. I have the truck set to only update when I accept it manually, so I wonder if this is the mythical February update that's supposed to fix the communication issue.

My Ford Pass app stopped seeing milage updates from my truck (again).
I haven't seen an update in 5 days. I can't start/stop charging from my phone.

I finally received the 4.1.2.1 update 2 days ago. Don't see any changes from a UI perspective whatsoever. I reset the LVB yesterday so I am hoping I wont have to do that again. That would be a great change if it fixes the modem.

Disconnect/Reconnect 12V battery or remove/install Fuse 32. It has been a PITA issue for me and I have stopped bothering. Modem stops communicating in 2-3 days after you fix it. I'm running 4.1.1 with automatic updates set to on. Issue started after truck updated to 4.1.1.

Mine stopped 2/10/23 @ 8:06:46. Haven't been able to update since then.

On the bright side it stopped right after a full charge so I ALWAYS have 100% charge level and 239 miles of range left!

Issue: Some 2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles built on or before 13-Dec-2022 may experience an inoperative FordPass application, inoperative remote start and/or inoperative remote lock and unlock that may be combined with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U0146:09 stored in the telematics control unit (TCU) and U2402:00 and/or U2402:92 stored in the gateway module (GWM). This may be due to the software level in the TCU. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to update the TCU to the latest software level via a coordinated flash.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria:

• 2023 F-150 Lightning
• Built on or before 13-Dec-2022
• At least one of the following conditions:
- Inoperative FordPass application
- Inoperative remote start
- Inoperative remote lock and unlock
- DTC U0146:09 stored in the TCU
- DTCs U2402:00 and/or U2402:92 stored in the GWM

My 2022 delivered August of 2022 has stopped reporting the SOC and projected mileage.
Something must be happening on the Ford end. Mine shows it updated when I left home this morning to go to work about 6am. FordPass still shows I have 90% charge and 285 miles and even if I swipe down it doesn't refresh.

Hopefully that's it, I started dicking around with fuse 32, popped it out and promptly dropped it into the black hole. Use a spare, (need to pick up a few for the future), that did not help.

Also uninstalled FP, that did not help........

So I'll sit and wait for @Ford Motor Company to get the IT department into the 21st century.

OK, all is back to normal!!!!
Getting SOC, DTE, ODO and can resume remote starting, lock & unlock (all of which I lost during the uninstall of the app. Now I just need to make sure my door pin and backup start code are still good and or set a new one.

How did you fix it? Reinstall Ford pass?

The problem was actually server side problems at Ford for my situation.

Though I tried uninstall & reinstall, it did not immediately help, actually the situation got worse for a few hours, lost functionality to start, unlock and lock, the control icons completely disappeared, only showing a grayed out Frunk and tailgate buttons.

I waited around an hour or so and eventually everything resumed working.

I'm hearing the problem was a reel to reel data tape machine broke down. They had to call a retiree in to diagnose the problem since that machine went out of production in the sixties.
