Departure Timer kicked off as it has in the past.
For kicks & giggles I switched the wheel warmer on to see if it's actually on when I go out at 8am,
ambient temp is around 61 degrees so I really don't need it, but I want to see if it works in an "unplugged" operation.

UPDATE: heated wheel worked!!!!
What doesn't seem to work or works differently than I expected is the temperature. When I set the temperature to 74 degrees, when I get into the truck, the HVAC shows the temperature I set in-truck from the prior use (72 degrees). I expected the HVAC to have the temperature set to the value I selected with the app during pre-conditioning. Is this what others are experiencing?

After you click the FAN icon, the Climate Settings icon will dynamically appear just below, depending on screen zoom & font settings you may need to scroll up to see it, then tap it to get into the sub menu for adjustment functions.
Thanks. Looks like I’ll have to start the truck before I can try again. Seems I’ve selected that feature too many times. ?

I noticed this as well when I got in the truck.

I am not even sure it is heating up the truck. When I set 74, it should be heating the cabin (it's still slightly cool where I live). But when I get it, it feels like the A/C is running with no heat. Is that your experience also?

The fan's were hardly blowing, it didn't seem overly warm either.

But, we're at that point of the season when HVAC system are confused about what to do.

I was curious why Ford added the exact temp and seat settings. They didn't update the SW in the truck. The truck knows, last settings or Auto for remote start, neither of which continue when you get in and press start - it defaults to your programmed settings. It doesn't make sense they added those.

Good morning all,

Looks like the FCSP historical data is back in the new App, checked this morning and it’s there:

Ford F-150 Lightning FordPass Update 5.0.0 -- Complete Redesign [5.0.3] bug-fix IMG_1293

So that’s positive.

Hopefully we will get these back in future updates:

  1. Trip planner - I used this all the time from in the House or Hotel and planning trips - I don’t want to be in the truck to do that.
  2. Trailer Light Check - This was a great feature I was bragging about that made towing much less of a hassle.
  3. Zone Lightning Control - The old version was laggy but it worked and having a new speedier version of this in the app would be a good idea.
  4. EV Trips - They removed this from the 4.x FP a while back but I would love to see it return - my guess is the amount of data it took to provide that reporting was not cost effective for Ford but that’s just my guess. What was nice it it showed you how much range was added back by regen etc.

The new “Climate” section is great but I noticed that - even though I have a heated steering wheel - the icon does not appear for me to use it. I am one of the trucks that did not initially have it in the truck and they added after - but I would assume the app should know that and show the icon. Hopefully we can file some bug reports.

Me too. SoC and range on landing, need to scroll for action buttons.
Yes on the scroll part. Works 1000000x better that old watch app. It now seems like lightning speed on my untra 2 watch. Lots of new scroll screens could be easily added. Very happy so far.

I have the same issue. I don't have the button for the steering wheel in the new app. But I have it in the truck.

Haven't downloaded it but have been testing the EA beta. It was missing functionality as discussed plus no odometer which I liked having. I did report these missing features after each sub-release.
Odometer is there under vehicle health. No user manual that I can find.
