So I just punched a destination into the Trip Planner and this is what I get:

Those are some outrageous estimates.
46% to 75% in 5 minutes?? In my SR truck, this would imply an average of 5.8 kWh/min, or 348 kW!
15% to 66% in 9 minutes would be 340 kW
10% to 51% in 6 minutes would be 410 kW
10% to 65% in 19 minutes would be 174 kW (much closer to reality, but still too optimistic).

What the heck? I almost never use the trip planner, but I don't remember it being this far off in the past.

I do. I also always like to cross compare.

After 2 years, I've learned to plan my stops myself. #1 reason is the apps don't consider the actual charge rates of the various chargers and some are just better than others by a fair bit. If I select known good chargers, it cuts my charge time in half.
#2 reason is @rio' s callout. It used to calculate theoretical times somewhat accurately but not recently and it usually selects crappy underperforming chargers in on my local routes.

Btw @rio you should have good rates on the Quebec chargers. My experience has been quite good there.

It thinks it is a Kia or Hyundai.

I have seen really weird stuff like this in the charging logs, the miles added can be way more than the percent of charge would support. There really isn't any excuse for this, but software quality has gotten pretty shoddy everywhere. AI will make it worse.

Once you upgrade to FP-5.0.0, this will be a non-issue.
