Found a Problem with Pro Power Bed and Frunk Outlet Control

I have found a bug with the control software for the bed and frunk power outlets in my "23 Lariat ER. That is if the outlets have been turned on with either the vehicle on or off with the charging connector plugged in, and the charging connector is then removed, or the unplug button on charge port is pushed the frunk and bed outlets will shut off. This will happen even if the Charge Station Pro is not powered. The cabin 120-Volt outlets do stay on when the other outlets shut off.

Just to make sure if you had turned on climate control prior to unplugging the charge cable? That is a known issue with PPOB.

For a strange reason, for a month or two, I almost always had PPOB left on, and other than if climate control was turned on, I had not noticed the PPOB turning off when the charge cable was unplugged.

I'll see if I can test this issue tonight.

Oh it's not a bug. It's a feature! Just like how the "ignition" turns off when you unplug the charger. Just like how the remote climate turns off when you open the frunk. These are all holdovers from the ICE F150 that the college intern they uses for writing body control code forgot to change for the Lightning. Unfortunately that intern left in 2022 and they haven't assigned a new intern to finish those changes.

I checked and found that the HVAC settings did not change the way the PPOB outlets shut off when the charge port was unplugged. Maybe a difference between ‘23s and ‘24s ?
