I'm used to a vehicle with 2 stalks off the steering column. One of the functions of the stalk with wiper controls was that you could push it a certain way and it would turn on the wipers just until you released it. I think Waaaay back in the day on older chevy's they called this function 'mist', no idea if there's another name for it buy my hyundai had it as well so it's not just a Chevy thing.
Any way to do this on the lightning? Or is this a function that they couldn't fit a control for on just one stalk?

The functions of the wipers are described in the manual. There is no "just one wipe / mist" capability. Rotate knob 1 click, then back again, and you will achieve your purpose.

Some trims have rain detection, I think the Flash does not.

I've found if you quick-tap the washer button in the tip of the stalk, you can futz it for three wipes without actually causing fluid to engage.
Used to do that on my old F-150, and still do it on my Lightning.

I use the fluid control button to get it to wipe once all the time. Super easy. Just push the button once and the wipers do one pass. I assumed that was intentional, but maybe not?

Either way, it works.

Tap the washer button quickly for a wipe, hold longer if you want the washer fluid to spray.

Push the windshield washer button quickly and release it will give you one wipe and no washer fluid

Yes it's intentional. tap to wipe has been on F-150's since I can remember. I haven't checked it on the lightnings documentation to see if it's in there, but I did learn it from the documentation of one of my older ICE f150's.
