Hey I have tried to find an answer to this before posting. I want to leave the bed outlets on all night while I am in my truck bed tent. I changed the setting to leave pro power on while the truck is off. Is that the only setting I need to change? Is there anything else I need to change to keep them on overnight? Thanks!

It may require you to have some draw on the circuit for it to stay on. It’s reported that without a load even with that setting it will timeout.

So theoretically they should stay on once I flip the toggle.
I believe folks with 24's have reported that even with that turned on, if there is not a load (like 90 watts), it will still turn off after a period of time (IIRC like 6-15 minutes).

Should probably test it before you go with the loads you will have.

A load of atleast 90watts is needed for the pro-power onboard to stay ON while the truck is OFF.

Ok stupid question, what can I plug in that will draw 90 watts consistently to keep it on?

Consider getting an electric portable cooler chest. Ours works well when we camp or tailgate. Anything above 30L works great since you don't need ice it holds up to a weeks worth of cold foods.

Why are you leaving Pro Power on? What are you powering?

I want to make sure my Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad are charging over night. Plus my lantern, headlamp and a Bluetooth speaker. Maybe with them all plugged in together that will be enough to keep it over 90 watts.

Won't be close to 90 watts, no. You can plug them all in and look at the draw on the screen.

90 watts!.... That's quite the load. (that's like 10 LED house bulbs). I know Fords Vehicle to Home system has been horrendous and expensive so I am abandoning ship on that idea. But I was going to get my electrician to set up a 30 amp generator plug that I can just plug in with propower for some critical loads like the furnace. Are you saying that if my furnace doesn't go on every 15 minutes, propower will shut off? Another ridiculous choice by the brains at Ford. The disappointment in the software for this truck just keeps growing and growing. FORD stop treating us like invalid babies. You ask 50 questions to get the thing to stay on. You have a settable battery Limit. LET IT STAY ON and if we drain the battery it is our fault. This goes for other aspects of the software such as drive modes. I don't need a nanny shutting off sports mode. All the warnings and inputs when towing are also a nightmare. It's 4 model years now. No more excuses.

No.

If you start the truck, turn off HVAC, lights, etc., and the disable the 30 minute shutdown, then it won't turn off until you hit the limit.

This is with the truck OFF, a new feature, and which requires the 90watts.

At least that's my understanding.

The simplest solution to this i found was to leave the car running overnight. Turn off the climate system and headlights. Cover the display with a towel. Pro power stays on all night .

while I may see the optional 'ProPower when Off' option in the future, I've never found leaving the truck ON as any issue... since there is no real difference, other than the driver screen stays active ....but, even then, you can simple stuff a small towel or some clothing into the area to 'cover' it, if you wish ...
