All true except the truck's alarm is not active when it's on. I imagine that on the '24 and '25s the alarm is active if pro power is being used with the truck off.No, this has been the real world experiance by more than one. The fact that it needs a minimum draw is undocumented, that's not much of a surprise.
Again, this is wrong. The Pro Power does NOT stay on if draw on the system is less than the minimum. A few tests showed the draw needed is just under 100w. Others tested it and showed the system shut down in about 6 minutes (iirc) when draw was below the 90-100w
In practice is expect there is very very little difference between Pro Power with truck off and Pro Power with truck on. I expect the only practical difference is the screens. Aside from that you can manually turn off the HVAC and radio. Pro Power itself will still mandate that most of the rest of the systems remain active, specifically the cooling loop and fans. The Pro Power inverter is liquid cooled so the same coolant loop will be active truck on or off. The same is true of the security of the truck. It cant drive without the key so on or off its the same effort to steal the truck.
I have no experience with the '24 and later trucks but the 90 watts minimum requirement seems silly. Good chance a modern inverter based fridge draws less than 90 watts.
