The only issues I've had is that it sets the park brake if you open a door or power down while not in park. When I go to move again I have to manually release the park brake.
The auto hold switch works correctly on mine.
The L button does work to lock the vehicle in neutral for extended periods. I specifically check this after installation because there has been discussion about how the L or M buttons work when replacing the lever.
Just to note - when the parking brake is On, simply shift to R or D and tap the accelerator to release it.

I’m compiling a verified list of Ford rotary shifter part numbers that are motorized. Specifically, I’m looking to confirm which part numbers actually include an internal motor and rotate themselves into Park when the vehicle is turned off.

The current working theory is that part numbers starting with LX6P or LX6Z typically refer to motorized rotary shifters. These are commonly used in 2020–2022 Escape, Bronco Sport, and others.

I’m hoping to collect real-world confirmations so we can build a reliable cross-reference list for retrofits and replacements.

If you’ve used one of these parts, please reply with the following:

  1. Part number (example: LX6P-7P155-EH)
  2. What vehicle it came from (year and model)
  3. Whether it is confirmed to be motorized (yes/no)
  4. Any other notes (source, behavior, fitment issues, etc.)

Here are some part numbers already believed to be motorized:

  • LX6P-7P155-ED
  • LX6P-7P155-EE - Confirmed @Ajzride
  • LX6P-7P155-EH - Confirmed (L Center Button) @Drayday55
  • LX6P-7P155-HE - Confirmed (M center button) @jmyer72
  • LX6P-14G395-AB - Confirmed @Ajzride
  • LX6Z-7P155-B
  • LX6Z-7P155-M - Believed to be the current motorized iteration
  • LX6Z-7P155-U

Please add any others you’ve verified, or correct anything above if you’ve found otherwise. Once we gather enough data, I’ll update the first post with a full list of confirmed motorized part numbers.

Thanks in advance for contributing.
This is great. Adding whether Auto Hold works, or doesn't work, would be important to me.

The gsm I am using requires you to use the park brake lever. It will not release the park brake by pressing the accelerator.

I've added non motorized to the bottom of the original post.
I think that edit got wiped out when the site went down earlier this week. Can you re-add the non-motorized?

Huh, you're right. I will go back and add it.

What is the functional difference between the M vs. L button in a Lightning?

I have updated it to the best of my knowledge. I have been a bit busy today, I will revisit when I have more time to see if I missed anything obvious.

I haven't seen that part number yet. My guess is that it is a non motorized version based on the trend.

It will be locked in park until it is installed regardless if it is motorized or not. Also, this came up when I did a google search on that part. https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...pressed-transmission-remains-in-park-p.21849/
Bummed to see the gsm I used is part of a tsb issued three years ago. I bought mine from a Ford dealer and not online in March of 25. I would think Ford could be a little more proactive in getting suspect parts out of their inventories.
Mine is the LJ9Z-7P155-D.
If I may make a suggestion, copy the part numbers referenced in tsb-22-2343 and mark them on your list as having a tsb associated with them.
