When this appeared in my browser, only the top part of the picture displayed and I thought
"Damn, someone installed an Emergency Shutoff switch"!

EDIT: All gone.

But I have 2 of the rotary shifters I ordered and a print of the rotary shifter console with shift box in PETG designed by endiandigital I no longer need.

I was originally working on making a box to merge with endiandigital's design that would allow a drop in of the rotary shifter without cutting the tabs off (I not a fan of cutting things up if not absolutely necessary). I got all the dimensions down and the shifter slides right in nicely and was getting ready to work on merging the designs but now no longer have the truck as we are expecting it is gonna be considered totalled.

If anyone wants the rotary shifter console box or either/both of the rotary shifters, let me know. I did not print the shift box lid since I wasn't planning to ever use the console box it in its original form. None of the items have been installed since I was still in the design phase.

Looking for $50 shipped each on the rotary shifters or $90 shipped for both. Just looking for cost of shipping for the shifter console via USPS. Not worried about the cost of the PETG cause I would just trash it if no one wants it. I can take payments via Zelle or PayPal Friends and Family payment methods. Also open for local pickup to anyone willing to come to the Houston, TX area.

Thanks all.

I've seen it referenced on the ICE forum, but I don't know if anyone has experience yet here. I would think the Lightning is following what they are doing there.
There's a FDRS routine to update the TRON encryption after you've installed something that uses it. It apparently re-writes the keys.

@jmyer72 thanks for the initial idea and the link to the shifter on ebay.
@asianman35 huge thanks for printing this out for me after I was unable to print this on my own printer. He printed and shipped this thing in no time.
@ENDianDigital thanks for posting the original file on Thingiverse. I modified it to fit my Nalgene and it worked out perfectly.

I'm happy to share my version if anyone wants it.

Very happy with how it turned out!

That is slick. I printed the first one (crudely) but I also wanted one where I didn't have to cut the tabs off, so I haven't really done anything with the first one I printed. Your version looks SO much better than what my machine printed. Did you post your build on Thingiverse?

Yep! See post #288 on this thread.

The one I received from @asianman35 had a pretty good finish as-is, but I sanded it and put several coats of primer and paint on it. That hid the remaining layer lines.

I should have said in my original post that I did have to cut the tip of the tab off on the “front” of the rotary knob.

What paint did you use? I'm debating what to use for mine. TIA!

This is what I had on hand and it turned out great. I didn’t use any clear coat because I was afraid it would be too shiny compared to the OEM plastic but in hindsight a layer of clear coat would have probably matched a bit closer.

I've downloaded it, but it looks very small. What was the units supposed to be, mm? I've tried importing it into Cura, Fusion, and the Luban slicer for my Snapmaker and all of them look too small.

You’ve got to switch the units to inches. Any slicer you use should have that option.
