Perhaps you had a depart time scheduled and didn’t turn it off? Maybe that was a factor?

For what it’s worth, I’ve been repeatedly getting this message for the past few weeks. I posted it under another topic and got a variety of suggestions, none of which seemed to help. I brought it to the dealer yesterday. They said the battery was in good shape and they were unable to immediately determine the cause. I left the truck there and they said it would take a few days to work it out. Of course I will keep the forum posted.

Any update? I’m dealing with the “battery saver mode” in FordPass now.

They replaced what I believe is called the “battery control module “ which resolved the problem

In the past this message often had to do with a weak 12v battery, or with something left plugged into the truck.

Yeah, that’s what I’m seeing here, but the truck seems to be stuck in battery saver even when it is on (not accessory mode), or have it on a slow L2 charge. Nothing plugged into truck. You would expect it to jump out of battery saver when the LVB gets above a certain voltage, right?

it's strange that the deep sleep started after just 2 weeks

Just a couple weeks ago, my truck went to sleep mode after only 12 hours or so after parking in my garage. I tried to turn climate on the next morning but it said that truck was in deep sleep and I would have to drive it to fix the error.

Yes. Try letting the truck "run" for 90 minutes or so, that is turn off the power down timer, leave a fob in it and see if your 12v battery issue stops, at least for awhile. There has been discussion about whether the LVB is charged while the truck is on a level 2 charger.

I only had a short time to mess with it before work, but I can confirm from car scanner that plugging in L2 causes the battery voltage to jump up. I think it was sitting at 14.5 V. I will dig in further to a SOC value for LVB and see if that is perhaps what is triggering battery saver.

Yeah, but 6 weeks?
Yep, would have been fine. I just parked the truck once for two months, like any other car, and it was fine. Did not disconnect the 12V, although maybe I should have. When I got back to it, it started right up.

After sitting in my garage unplugged for 10+ hours while I was at work. It’s sitting on with shutdown timer disabled now.

After 2+ hours on, we seem to come out of battery saver. I don’t see much difference from when I turned it on, but that seems to have fixed it at least for now. Just to be clear, the 12.2 V in my previous post was before turning on. The LVB battery voltage jumped to about 13.35 immediately after turning on, but we didn’t drop out of battery saver for at least an hour and a half. Thanks for the encouragement to leave it on for longer. Now, how can I get the dealer to replace this under warranty… (2023, 12000 miles)

Figured I'd post here instead of a new thread... I got the "Battery Saver Mode" last night.

The interesting thing is that I got the error just after the charging finished and the truck was still plugged in. I've been driving it almost daily, my 12V SoC when I started it this morning was 97% and I checked the voltage in the middle of the night and it was 12.9V.

I do not get any "some accessory is using power" or whatever the message is when the 40% SoC threshold kicks in and I really don't have anything plugged in anymore since my black-box and camera runs off of a separate battery.

The only "odd" thing lately is that yesterday morning it wouldn't respond to remote-start and/or a refresh in fordpass, which would be normal if it was in saver-mode, but it wasn't, at least not visibly in the app.

If you still have your original 12V battery, it’s past time for replacement.
