For the Bolt EV and the Tesla Model 3 I tracked the weekly production rate but I can't say I know what the weekly F150L production rate is now that product has started. I am starting this thread so we can track the current production rate. If you have any information on current weekly production rates pleas post here.

I read in another thread that the current weekly production rate is about 300 units and is expected to ramp up to about 500 units. With only 30 weeks left in 2022 it looks like Ford is going to fall a little short of the 20k units they promised for this year unless they ramp up some more.

I believe that was the thread that mentioned total units build up until now and someone took when they started production until now to get the average per week.
In the first few weeks they would have done A LOT less than they are doing now so it is possible that they are doing 500+ per week right now.

if "a week and a half" is 10.5 days, then we could estimate about 70,000 trucks a year.
Plant has capacity to build a lot of trucks.

Ford doesn't have parts to build a lot of Trucks :)

Same w/ Rivian, but Rivian is more squeezed for parts. If Rivian had all the parts it wanted, it would be making ~1250/week. Instead of doing that, they build in batches when parts arrive, then sit idle.

At Tuesday's launch, " Farley told reporters that workers have built an estimated 2,000 Lightning full-size pickups within the past week and a half or so."

Back of the napkin estimate.... if "a week and a half" is 10.5 days, then we could estimate about 70,000 trucks a year.
Perhaps MSN got confused between weeks and months. Per this article by the Verge https://www.theverge.com/2022/4/26/23042056/f-150-lightning-ford-ev-jim-farley about 1800 Lightnings had been built thus far.

Job 1 for the Lightning began March 14th. So 1,800 to 2,000 Lightnings produced in the past month and a half makes more sense.

Someone has been tracking the window stickers and i believe they are seeing closer to 1000/wk get generated. That is also in line with what someone working in the plant said was the production goal. It could be they’ve made 1800 customer vehicles and 2300 mannequins. That would be more in line with the 1000/wk plan that we had heard.

Based on my VIN I’m within one of the first 5000 trucks. My scheduled build date isn’t until 5/30 6 weeks after official launch. That would put initial production at just shy of 1000/week which seems more accurate.

Not all of the 1-5000 will be built even by that time, at this point the assigned numbers have been randomized for production efficiency.

Agreed, but I would think it's close right? I doubt they would be producing 3000/week as an example and only be pumping out VIN 5000 6 weeks later when nearly 20,000 vehicles have already been produced.

from what we've seen in the build day sequencing numbers 300 to 500 a week

If they are going to produce 20,000 MY22 by Sept, 1,000 a week is required. Hope they pull it off.
