2025 F150 Lightning Flash
I purchased a 2025 Lightning Flash less than 2 weeks ago and this morning I noticed 2 small holes on the roof of the cab. Looks unfinished. Does anyone have an idea of what this was supposed to be? Can anyone with a similar model take a pic of what that area on their roof looks like? I'm headed to the dealer tomorrow and will update here on what they say. Love the truck, hoping this is a an easy resolve.

Copy that, looks like one side of my truck has the rivet and the other does not. Thanks for the help!
Wow, looking closer I see, bring it to the dealer, the service tech should be able to put one in.

Nunya business ;)
Nothing unusual or wrong with your truck. 2023 XLT- we all have the same pop rivet- don’t worry about it! ;)

Yikes. After zooming in on OP’s photo, I see that the rivet is missing!

I dropped it off today, they think the other piece may be in there but the top of it popped off!

Can I ask here:
Does this part of the truck (discussed above) allow us to add a temporary roof support for say a long ladder or a canoe/kayak?

I would like to put these types of things up on the truck without adding a headache rack permanently to the box.
If there were a way to add a roof rack supported at this trim piece, and a reciever post at the back, then a ladder or a canoe could be carried without touching the painted part of the roof ? maybe??

Looking a FORD Accessories, they only have options for Super Duty trucks, none for the F150 line.
You're stuck with Bed mounted options for F150's
