Well, I got my first test drive in and I probably have the best situation to report on the improvement.

Finally got the update Thursday afternoon, and was able to test it out on a 55 mile drive with three different freeways. Exactly what I was expecting! Only disengaged once, and worked through some construction zones. Made lots of lane changes with decent traffic volume. I found that it need a decent gap to make the lane change, so any large speed difference requires a manual lane change otherwise you get caught waiting for a long time. Very happy with having this update after the atrocious wait.

Did a 600 mile road trip with BC the whole way this weekend. Lane changing worked amazing! The wind was INSANE, and BC kept her straight as an arrow. It even worked perfectly in a severe monsoon rain storm that passed through.

2024’s have BC 1.3, so I have lane change and it does work great. I am just looking for it to stop asking me to hold the wheel on Interstate’s when there is a turn. It is also weird the way that it asks you to hold on when you go through a toll gantry. I guess 1.4 doesn’t change that.

BLUECRUISE UPDATE FAILED TO FINISH LOADING


I woke up to see that my update to Blue Cruise 1.4 did not complete on Saturday. Its now Monday and it still has not changed status. It just update not completed.

Not completed means the OTA failed for some reason. You have to wait for it to be resent. Until then, you will see that message there.

It has been happening a lot with this update recently. You're not alone.

The website says that I've gotten the Bluecruise update. But I don't have the ability to change lanes with the turn signal. Is there something that I need to turn on? I haven't been able to find anything in the settings.

ha, Blue Cruise has cost me quite a bit. Spent $1k to get it last october (mongoose, power supply and fdrs) and $1k to get rid of it a couple months back. Still have about 2.5 yrs left on my blue cruise trial which will likely be wasted.
