To have BC 1.4 with 2.5 more years and still pay for Comma AI along with the headaches of the additional hardware is a helluva statement. Might be worth its own thread in comparison.ha, Blue Cruise has cost me quite a bit. Spent $1k to get it last october (mongoose, power supply and fdrs) and $1k to get rid of it a couple months back.Still have about 2.5 yrs left on my blue cruise trial which will likely be wasted.
Quite a few have done the same thing. Blue cruise doesn't really add much value to me since most of my driving is away from interstates. The fact that the comma works the entire 120 mile drive to my parents' (~ 95% 2 lane highway) is worth the minor trouble getting everything set up. It's not Tesla FSD level and never will be since Ford's shoddy steering algorithms really limit it but Ford won't be bringing anything close to current Lightnings either. I would suggest anyone interested to read the thread to get an idea as if you're not even mildly technical it may be a tough road. If I gave a comma to my dad, he'd chunk it out the window.
Feels way more solid than the plastic though. But I would love to see it in silver.
