Can confirm this added the switch for me as well on my 12”.

On a side note is Forscan causing Windows to crash and blue screen repeatedly for anyone else? I tried the current version and my previous version and it crashes the majority of the time.
Mines been setting off Windows Defender with a trojan warning. Had to tell Defender to ignore it to stop forscan from being deleted in the middle of programming.

Yeah.. I always prequalify the fully updated part because the 24 and 22-23 run the same firmware when they are fully updated. I dont know when they enable some of these things. We ran into this with the 24 IPC firmware. It wouldnt display speed unless the other modules were also updated.

Can confirm that C reverts the enhanced charging screen which makes sense due to the 24 having PPO when off but not the enhanced charging. Debating on whether or not to even enable it back since it charging speed is the only feature that works which I now have on the driver's screen after loading the 24 IPC.

Works on my '22. I used 2 and E.

How it works is interesting. The bed outlets seem to work any time now when I press the ON button on the panel. I think the outlets in the truck only work with the truck off when the toggle switch is ON. The toggle switch reverts to OFF when the power is cycled on the truck. This is presumably to prevent an unintended draw on the battery.

Nice feature!

Did you have the enhanced charging option enabled already?

So I got the toggle enabled on my '23 Pro. I plugged in a space heater to one of the bed outlets, turned it on, then turned off the truck and the power to the bed outlets also turned off.

I tried multiple times but each time the bed outlets turned off. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I also tried turning on the power using the green button on the PPO panel in the bed but that did not work either.

You may need some FDRS updates. Its fully working on my 2022. My outlets stayed on with the truck off. There is a timeout period though and it'll lock out the green button if pro power and the truck are both off for long enough.

My truck went to the dealer in June for some HV and warranty work which included an IPMA update. They may have just updated everything while they were in there because I haven't done any FDRS updates myself.

I was afraid it might be something like that. I don't have access to FDRS and have no idea what modules are updated vs. not. I also added the WAL toggle but it is greyed out so I don't think I have the latest updates required for that either.

Should I revert the changes I made back to my original values? Could it hurt anything leaving it as is?

I think its fine to leave it. Mine was all zeros before I made any changes so I think its a previously unused block for our APIMs atleast. I've left my changes in to enable the advanced charge settings even though its not working for 12" SYNC yet.

@BhamDCam @Henry Ford @shoopg (and anyone else who got it to work or not)
Could you DM me your VIN? I would like to take a look at software versions you have for a few modules to see why it works for some and not others. TIA!

My guess is it needs the updates 10.3 included which has yet to be released to the masses. I never received it either.

Thanks to @shoopg @21st Century Truck @PJnc284 @flyin525 @BhamDCam @Henry Ford for sending me their VINs. As stated by @Jesse-Infotainment, it is important to have the latest software for the PPO mod to work.

In this case I believe it is the PCM module. While each of these trucks has different PCMs, the PCM is often packaged with other modules like ABS and BECM. These latter two show a clear difference between trucks where this mod works and it does not. Further the service manual indicates that PPO is furnished by the DCACA and DCACB modules but controlled by the PCM. Everyone has the same DCACx versions so that's good. Also everyone is on the latest SYNC (which is probably a prerequisite also).

So for this mod to work you need the latest PCM update that is likely available for your truck. It's probably the one that became available March 2.

I will update post 1 to include this mod with some notes.
