Here's a fun one. @bmwhitetx this should get added to the first post in this thread.

Enabling 2024 Feature - Pro Power Onboard Outlets w/ Truck Off

Both changes in APIM.
Have you tried this? My truck is fully up-to-date thanks to a dealer who thought that was a good way to troubleshoot a bad battery module. This seems like a nice feature.

Always like to confirm FORScan changes before adding to post 1. :) So looking at my database of As-Builts:

7D0-10-03 xxxx xx2x xx--
All 22-23's have a 0, all 24-25's have a 2.
So you would be changing 0 to 2. According to the 24 spreadsheet, this enables "PPO Outlets On in Vehicle Off State".

7D0-10-04 xxxC xxxx xx--
Almost all 22-23's have a 4, most 24's have a C and 25's have a E.
So you would change 4 to C. According to the 24 spreadsheet, this changes "PPO Utility Idle" from Version 1 (MY23 and earlier) to Version 2 (MY24 and beyond).
If your 22-23 has a 0 that means the Sync feature to Record Feedback is disabled. This was an OTA you likely didn't get.
EDIT: The difference between C and E is that 2025's also have the Advanced Charging Screen. So if your existing value is 6, then you change to E not C

Note that Jesse says the the truck should be fully updated. I will wait for several 22-23's to confirm the toggle appears AND the functionality works before adding to my Forscan mods page. If it doesn't work, you might check your Sync version (Settings..General..About Sync). I think the most current is 25094. I would imagine there might be another module or two that is also needed.

Reminder, this does not apply to 2024 and newer. You already have this!

hmm...looks like I should maybe change mine to E. My 7D0-10-04 value was a 6 (changed from 4 to add the enhanced charge screen). Guessing changing it to C probably broke the enhanced charge screen. Would make sense due to the 25's having E and the enhanced charging screen along with PPO when off.

Yeah, I agree - C would have disabled the charging screen. The public spreadsheet doesn't show E but Jesse provided it here. Might scan that thread just to be sure. I'm updating my note above.

Yep works on mine. I’ve never done FDRS updates but my truck did take a visit to the dealer in June for contactor issues and warranty items which included an IPMA update. No clue if they updated everything while they had it in there or not.

@bmwhitetx - I set mine to E to see if I could enable the enhanced charging settings but since I have the 12” screen nothing happened yet. I’ve left it at E just in case Ford pushes whatever update is needed for the 12” screens.

What’s interesting is I had a 0 there but I’ve always had Record Feedback. Wonder if I’ve been yelling into the void 😂

Can confirm this added the switch for me as well on my 12”.

On a side note is Forscan causing Windows to crash and blue screen repeatedly for anyone else? I tried the current version and my previous version and it crashes the majority of the time.

Mines been setting off Windows Defender with a trojan warning. Had to tell Defender to ignore it to stop forscan from being deleted in the middle of programming.

Yeah.. I always prequalify the fully updated part because the 24 and 22-23 run the same firmware when they are fully updated. I dont know when they enable some of these things. We ran into this with the 24 IPC firmware. It wouldnt display speed unless the other modules were also updated.

Can confirm that C reverts the enhanced charging screen which makes sense due to the 24 having PPO when off but not the enhanced charging. Debating on whether or not to even enable it back since it charging speed is the only feature that works which I now have on the driver's screen after loading the 24 IPC.

Works on my '22. I used 2 and E.

How it works is interesting. The bed outlets seem to work any time now when I press the ON button on the panel. I think the outlets in the truck only work with the truck off when the toggle switch is ON. The toggle switch reverts to OFF when the power is cycled on the truck. This is presumably to prevent an unintended draw on the battery.

Nice feature!

Did you have the enhanced charging option enabled already?

So I got the toggle enabled on my '23 Pro. I plugged in a space heater to one of the bed outlets, turned it on, then turned off the truck and the power to the bed outlets also turned off.

I tried multiple times but each time the bed outlets turned off. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I also tried turning on the power using the green button on the PPO panel in the bed but that did not work either.
