Ford app v6.0.0/6.1.0 FKA Ford Pass, IOS & Android

My android updated overnight. I do not have any PPO controls on the main screen.
The previously assigned name is showing correctly as is a full image of my truck.

So what I can see is different.

1) Preferred charge times is now something you set and no longer putting 12am to 12am to trigger it as anytime, for both weekdays and weekends. If not set, it's anytime.

2) Now you can set your home location from the app, no longer from the truck only. It also shows your list of past AC charging station locations you used that you can set for a target charge location and preferred charge times. (Click the select location.) I have no need but I wonder if you can run a home location for off peak time and then your work location without a set time, and for giggles maybe a vacation home location with additional off peak times. And now your gps location automatically sets your charge schedule.

I'm on T mobile as well, if you go to the play place and search Ford app you should see the update, d/l now on my phone. Lipstick on a pig it would seem. I don't see any new functionality.

This puzzled me too, but I figured out that the former "ANY TIME" scheme is without constraints of time so it's not listed anymore.

Could the Easter egg be if you start the truck, turn on pro power, you would you then see it in the app....

Weird glitch if you have preferred charging times setup:

- Have a set time
- Ask to start charging
- Tries charging to 100%
- Adjust to lower %
- Stops charging ???

Have to disable preferred charging to get a charge level lower than 100% outside the window

I just discovered that my iPad updated to the new Ford app. My iPhone has not. On the iPad it thinks my truck has only been charging for 14”, when in reality it has been charging for 4.5 hours. iPad shows only 14” worth of energy added as well. iPhone is right on.
Seems like a weird glitch.

Charging this evening and the new app does not show kWh Energy Added. The percentage is going up, and rate looks correct. Not sure why that alone would be affected. Anyone else noticing the same thing in the new app when charging?

I noticed that too. I had to close the app and reopen it to see the Energy Added.

Only skimmed the first two pages so if I repost, I apologize, but there are certainly additions like Siri integration, it looks to only be available in the shortcuts app at the moment, but I made a button to start the truck directly on the home screen. Extremely convenient since the scaling of the new app means you now have to scroll down to get to the climate start.

As of this moment, you can lock, unlock and remote start the truck with Siri integration.

The "time to full" is gone! That sucks. I remember when I first got the truck and only had a standard wall outlet. I plugged it in and it said fully charged at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.. it was Tuesday!

Show us the data screen you're drawing such a conclusion!!!!

There is a couple of metrics on the active and final charging screen in FP that are grossly off, ie. the number of miles added is often way out of spec, if that' is how you are determining the improvement, don't trust it.

I seen it on my charging screen last night, didn't capture the screen shot though, but I will tonight after a make a run to Logan airport this afternoon.

Bryce's post shows the est'd completion time, not sure if he was charging to 100% {FULL}, mine was to 90% set point
