I'm team Android. I had a work forced on me #$%^& iPhone that I absolutely despised, but happily gave it back when I retired a month ago

There always seems to be a difference in the features provided between Android and iOS and guessing this may be one of them.

This is a truck forum... I don't get the need to bash someone's phone of choice every time someone asks a technical question of which OS is having the issue this time around. Fantastic you like android better... Thanks for announcing it.

There is no other App on my phone where I hope for so much more functionality... not even close. I so want more from it. My priority list.

1. Tell me lock status
2. Close windows and moonroof (was feature in my fusion energi 2016)
3. Zone lighting control - needs to be responsive
4. Pre-Condition now button for single use, not just climate
5. PPO - at least data if not control (don't lose power much here)

Either this or it’s omitted on iphone.

@Ford Motor Company Can you shed any light on why some users are seeing the Pro Power Onboard controls in the new app and others aren't? I've updated my phone to ios 26.1 and the app to 6.1, and don't see the PPO section shown above.

Thanks, that's helpful to know it's something they are testing, as opposed to being based on trim level or such.

Isn't testing that what BETA users are for? Having users have completely inexplicably different experiences on the official public release version causes confusion and frustration and is not a good software strategy. IMO.

@Ford Motor Company I'll be your guinea pig, have your iOS team send me a TestFlight, I already send bug reports to Apple. I was gonna say infected research monkey but didn't they all go Bonnie and Clyde after a truck crash?

The top wouldn't really be 1 hand friendly. The controls are placed perfectly on my S22+ but sure it varies based on screen size.

They could just move the Vehicle Location to the bottom of the screen - or split the climate button in half and make one half climate, the other location.

Getting the EA versions just means you get frustrated sooner. You don’t get any indication of what new features are included. The version numbering is just as frustrating as the OTA releases. PPOB actually showed up a couple of EA versions ago but then the final release (with the same version number) did not include it. You have to look for a build number in addition to the version.
