Our 2022 Lightning is a manican model. We are the original owners. After 7 hours of driving, I have severe right hip pain despite maximum use of Blue Cruise. It seems that no matter how I adjust the seat, there is lots of pressure on my femur where it fastens to my hip. The pain lasts for days. I tried using a pillow but that did not solve the problem. It was not a pain until the last year or so.
On our 2001 Volvo, after several years, the seat deteriorated because the foam sort of squeezed past the wire mesh that was supposed to support. I was able to fix that by sliding a piece of 1/4 “ masonite or plywood in from ihe space under the seat cushion. (I weigh about 180 lbs) Maybe this is what has happened in our 20,000 miles with the Lightning. The seat on my 2013 F150 did not deteriorate. We also have not had this problem in either of our Teslas.
1. Have any of you had this problem?
2. If so, what have you done to fix it?
3. Has your extended warranty covered cost to repair?
