My Last update 8/2025 Convenient Frunk - Has Ford stopped sending out updates?

2023 Lariat : No updates since August 2025 and concerned Ford is dropping support on the Lighting.

Is anyone receiving updates, Love the truck, but bad enough we will all lose our shirts in the future or be able to find parts.

Yes, many of us with '23s have received PT-25.8.5 in the last few weeks. I received it on 6 February.

09/17/2025: Blue Cruise Toggles and Walk-Away Lock. APIM Sync 25.2.1.6.5

02/07/2026: Charge Port Functionality & Cold Weather Performance. PT-25.8.5

You can always try the 12V disconnect. Has worked for a few folks.

Unlikely to help, it didn't help me a few years ago anyways. Ford will send it to you when it wants to and not a day before. No clue how or why they determine when, not sure Ford knows either to be honest. My dealer updated a single module for me after I'd gone almost a full year, started getting updates about 3 weeks later. Coincidence? Maybe....I've given up trying to figure it out.

Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the negative battery terminal (pic below). Then remove it for about 20 minutes. Then reconnect it. This will reboot all modules. A few folks have noted that they began receiving OTA's again but clearly no guarantee.

FYI, the info above about charging the battery is if you get an update and it fails. Won't help you get the update sent to you in the first place.

This is my understanding too, if low 12v is the problem you'll have some sort of failure notification. If there's no sign your truck is even trying to receive an update then it's not a 12v problem.
