The answer is obviously Soon™I'm trying to find out what the next "big" update package will include and when it is slated to roll out.
You know me too well. The answer is obviously Soon™
There are reports that the Cold Weather Performance update included the update to all this to be enabled: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...-weather-performance.34418/page-2#post-637425
I don't have this update yet so cant test it out - hoping I will get it soon.
@Ford Motor Company please please have them remove the need to have to enable it in the truck every time and the frustrating 90w requirement before the follow up update enables this for everyone…
Honestly until they remove that stupid watt requirement I don’t want this. It’s so much easier to just leave the truck on and disable vehicle power down timer.I can confirm that in order for this to work you need the PCM updates that came out in early 2025. Many 22-23's got PCM updates at some point last year from their dealer or did it themselves with FDRS. There was not an OTA - until now.
In this post, folks are reporting getting OTA PT-25.13.12. It enables charge port lock during DCFC and says it updates the PCM. I previously enabled the "Keep PPO on with truck off" toggle from post 21 but the toggle would not stay in the On position. Many others have reported that and @Jesse-Infotainment indicated we likely needed a PCM update (and perhaps Sync).
I got this OTA last night and it updated my ABS, BECM, PCM, and SOBDMx modules. I just tested and now the toggle stays on. I hooked up a small space heater to the bed outlets and it kept the heater going with the truck turned off. FordPass reported 1010 Watts. After about 20 minutes, I turned the heater to fan only (50W) and as expected the outlets turned off exactly 5 minutes later. Interestingly (I guess because the truck was off), FordPass never updated to show only 50W.
I also have Sync 25094 from a May '25 OTA which may also be required. Some of you may still be on 24127. TBD if Sync is also required.

This is good info and a bit of a bummer. Thankfully, for my intended use with an EG4 6000xp inverter, I can see the incoming power from the "generator". I suspect when I need it, I'll easily meet the 90w minimum to keep it on. Thanks for the testing!Interestingly (I guess because the truck was off), FordPass never updated to show only 50W.
Even more maddening the FP app never showed that PPO had turned off. It was still showing 1010W an hour later despite refreshing the FP App (pull down) and even pinging it with Home Assistant. This is good info and a bit of a bummer. I'm going to save that for later
