Can the AI assistant check if my truck is locked when it’s parked and either alert that it’s still unlocked or lock it for me?
My GF's Atlas has this feature (including window status), but it's definitely not reliable. It throws a ton of false readings, showing a window is down when it's actually up and vice versa.

Slate sure keeps looking better...

When I had a Model Y it used to have that feature.

Can Ford AI be used to vibe code a better SYNC4 experience and improved Ford App integrations with the features that customers have been asking for?

What also bothers me is that there is an actual "President" of Integrated Services at Ford? Waste of money...

Who asked for AI? Let's discontinue the best selling ev truck, then add Ai features no one asked for. And for Ford's next amazing reveal the Fathom, all of this is like Google and all it's failed products and services.

I like my truck, but damn those eggheads at ford need to get their heads out of their asses.

Let's share an example how Ford programmers think.... ME: Hi Truck... I find that my preference is to drive in sports mode and would like to keep it that way. Ford Programmer: That's nice....How about NO!!!! but I will ask you each time you start your truck though. ME: How about you leave things how I left them and not think you are smarter than me to change stuff on your own.... Do you really think I want Ford AI to do even more of this? How about NOOOOOOOO! Fords FOCUS on software needs to be getting the little stuff done extremely RIGHT before venturing on into even more problematic features that cause customer complaints about software.

I think Ai would be fine in the I app I already don’t use because it’s such an unreliable pain in the a$$.

Funny, I just had a 10 minute exchange with AI in the Ford App on this topic: It's answer ? It's all about fuel economy ratings and that Sport mode is more wasteful of energy. Normal has to be the predominant mode, but then AI said I could use Sport 100% of the time, no problem. But since the Lightning was a truck, it had this default mode requirement. Catch-22'ish. Not so the mach-e, which can be set for individual drivers tastes.

What a bunch of BS

Nope, no way, not in this lifetime. Give it up Ford, not worth your time or effort to continue down this path.

can it set my destination in navigation? can it reroute me to a restroom or charge station? can it recommend a restaurant and set the route in navigation for me? if not it is not useful. GROK can do this in my Tesla's.

So far I've asked it to:

Take actions the vehicle already does under software control.
It can't do that.

Take actions the app already does like start the climate control.
It can't do that.

Report a status that the vehicle already does under software control.
It can't do that.

Report a status that the app already does like if the climate control is on.
It can't do that.

Look up something in the online manual.
It does this far more poorly than the search function.

So, what exactly does this AI add?

It adds career advancement for some twerp of an engineer or engineering manager whose boss is afraid their own career will stall or end if they are not perceived as aggressively adopting "AI". Isn't that much obvious? One wishes an engineering organization as old and in many ways excellent as @Ford Motor Company were less susceptible to this, but it's hard.

Ford AI is an LLM, not a physical agent, and it seems mainly designed to find and summarize information in the owner’s manual, charging FAQ, etc. It does have access to some “inside” information you won’t find readily accessible elsewhere. It relies on you to do any physical adjustments. It’s not great, but it’s not half-bad either. Better something than nothing. I commend Ford for having the courage to give it s spin and look forward to future improvements. As for AI slop, most of that is scraped from all the human slop the world is full of…
