What is the deal?????
Are they refunding your reservation & order deposits for an out right cancel or transitioning you to MY24??????

No reservation. I simply jumped on the two week window in August when Ford opened up the Pro option. Cancellation may be due to how the order was entered, priority code 20 (dealer stock - highest priority). Dealer reached out to zone rep but no joy.
I've since located an XLT that just arrived at another dealer. My dealer has a verbal agreement with them to acquire it for me.

Today, 11/8/23, we got another 45 day robo letter, blaming delays due to supply chain challenges. Maybe there is a shortage of vinyl floor pans, or non-powered seat bases?

I ordered 10/3, the day before '23 order banks closed (I didn't know that, just coincidental timing)... I was hoping for a Friday afternoon email but nothing yet. What happens if it doesn't get scheduled for production in one of the weeks listed below? Its a standard range XLT with 312A, thats not an option for MY24 so its not something that can be rolled over... Would they cancel, or would they have not accepted the order if they couldn't schedule it?

I suspect you will see some more scheduling, don't give up hope, the last couple weeks scheduled have been a bunch of dealer spec orders, IMHO they should be putting all special orders into production before running those spec orders.I ordered 10/3, the day before '23 order banks closed (I didn't know that, just coincidental timing)... If they balance out with no additional resources to fulfill your order, then your order conversion to MY24 will be done to the nearest equivalent trim XLT/FLash based on your priorities.

Probably best to give up on the order and grab what you can, I just stumbled on statistics for the 11/27 build week, 1431 trucks being built.
Only two more weeks of MY23 scheduling to the day left:

Build week 12/4 will have 1440 Lightnings built, many of them are dealer stock orders, anyone with a special orders seeing a window sticker for 12/4 to 12/10?

For those of you who HAVE NOT been scheduled for a build day, you need to talk to your sales person about placing a MY2024 order to replace the MY2023 build that might not be coming, for specific trims, a private offer to discount the cost increase will be given, while other models may not, because the price did not go up for 2024.
