2025 Lariat Frunk issues?

I was packing up to head home, opened the frunk with the FOB, opened fine. Put all my luggage in, pushed the button on the frunk to close. Only closed to the safety position (neither fully open or fully closed). Could not open or close! Luggage stuck, and can’t drive safely.
Messed with it for an hour, had it towed to a dealer, they said they fixed it by replacing the latch. Tried it in the lot and it did the same thing. They finally got it to close by messing with the buttons for an hour. Brought it to the dealer where I bought it, showed them the issue, they kept the truck and they messed with it and now it is working.

getting the truck back next week, but pretty anxious about using the frunk now. The dealer can understand but they cant

anyone else have this issue?

The frunk seems to be a weak link, but it is generally fixable. Mine has acted up a few times, but resetting its travel distance has put it back in order. I can explain that process if you are not familiar with it.

No, nothing wrong with the frunk.

There have been a few latch replacements but otherwise solid performance overall.

Nobody reads the manual.

I had the exact same unissued and the emergency release did not work. I could pull on it as hard as I could and nothing. Drove it to the dealer with the truck blaring at me that the frunk was open and they fixed it but I don’t know what they did but it has worked fine ever since.

I have a 25 Lariat and the frunk lid always seems to open… reluctantly. It hesitates and opens very slowly. But it does always open and close for me.

Wow. Supprise supprise. Good luck. 3 dealers and mine still gets stuck in limbo. I carry around a long handle wrench that fits the 2 small bolts holding the latchbar on the upper part of the frunk. No more wasted time with dealers. 20 minutes and I'm able to open it and fix the issue.
