Thoughts? This was just around the neighbourhood -- I'll try to get a better bumpy/higher speed shot tomorrow. Left side (was raining) is not squeaking and dampens the spring better....but it's doing the work of both sides technically. My dealer said "you need a tire balance and alignment" your suspension is working perfectly.

Good side (left) - was now raining hard

What is Your truck's mileage (kilometrage)?

My shocks, all four of them, were completely shot at just over 60 thousand miles. One was visibly bleeding oil... when I took them off, I could completely compress each of all four shocks against the concrete floor with one hand.

Ford is known to cheap out on OEM shocks, for their sedans as well as trucks.

I strongly suggest Eibach shocks for the Lightning as replacements if Your shocks are blown, or if Your truck is nearing 60,000 miles or its eq. in kilometers. If You have the $$$, then I suggest Eibach shocks anyway as they give a far, far better ride with the OEM springs (my case).

just under 20,000 km -- I'm guessing the others are getting there too...the dealer feels it's totally fine. I didn't think I'd have to mount a GoPro and light to prove it out...

20,000 km = about 14,000 miles or so. In that case, it might come down to $$$ and changing them out for Eibach Lightning shocks anyway. Good Luck on Your decision!

Was that the same stretch of road in both videos?

thanks - can you give me more details? At the top?
I've never looked at mine, even after over 100k km's but if the top mount is loose it could cause a little vibration. The shock could be defective but that's the easiest thing I can think of.

What exactly is the issue.

Without knowing that each side drove over the exact same pavement (EXACT same, not same stretch of road) i would say that nothing here looks to be a problem.

If its making noise then it could be any of a dozen other issues.

Based on the noise, specifically, I had a similar noise in a previous vehicle, and it ended up being some rocks in the bushings. I believe it was in the front bumper that was causing a squeaky noise, but yeah, like others said, the shock replacement is a huge deal. Mine already leaking oil, and they only had 10,000 miles on them.

lots of shaking in the cab, especially on the passenger side, the seat, door and anything left on that side vibrates and chatters away. My Dad got sick from it on a road trip recently.... just way too much shaking. I don't really notice the same on the driver side, but I hear things and see things moving around a lot.

Are the top of the shocks normally rusty like this photo? This truck has only been on the road since November 2025 --
